2 trees in the garden. One was the Tree of Life, and the Other was the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.

At any time, they could have eaten from the tree of life, as it was not forbidden. AT ANY TIME!! But that wicked serpent enticed the woman, saying that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil will make them wise, and they will become as God, knowing good and evil.

Many Christians today still eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They presume to be able to discern between good and evil, but they cannot discern that they are eating from the forbidden tree. They want to be God. They want to use their own knowledge to figure God out. They think they are wise. They would rather eat of that tree, and not of the Tree of life, which is Jesus Christ. If only they could eat of that tree, then they would have had all the wisdom and discernment they needed. As in that tree there is Eternal life and Eternal wisdom.

They thought that tree was the good tree, but it was a tree that would bring corruption in them. And so, enmity was set against the seed of the serpent and the seed that was to come. But the seed that was to come crushed the head of the serpent, and triumphed over him in victory. And all the seed of the serpent will be destroyed.

Jesus Christ is LIFE! HE gives the Spirit to discern. Any other way of discerning, by outward appearance or by some book knowledge one might think earns them a discernment degree is but witchcraft and rebellion to the Way of Life. It is not wisdom, it is corruption, and it is sin. And the wrath of God still remains.

But the Spirit of God is the Spirit of discernment, as without the Spirit no one can discern according to truth. Jesus Christ gives of his Spirit to those who believe and obey him. And if not to the wicked, then what spirit do they follow? Not the Spirit of God.

This is very misleading. To say that He gives His Spirit only for discernment is a halftruth.And that some book of knowledge wont. Just not fully true.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth, for thy word is truth.

John 6:63 It is the Spirit that quickenneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words i speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are life.

Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them who are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
DISCERN both good and evil.

Honestly to mislead someone into thinking discernment comes from the Holyspirit only without the word of God, is to lead them into
witchcraft and rebellion as you put it.

There are Allot of people who would search the scriptures adn think that THAT makes them closer to God, but they will totaly ignore the Holy Spirit.

How ever then there are peopel who absolutely hate scripture. They call the Bible the mark, and such thigns liek that. So really Pride and arrogance can go either way.

So the ones who follow after A spirit, adn call the Bible the MARK of the Beast...they are discerning wrong...and they dont even read the bible.

I knwo what you ment my brother, Whole heartedly, and i agree...but as the LORD is showing me...there may be different ways to go about expresing it.

To have TOATAL head knowledge and be scripture lead, is NOT beign led by the spirit. However the Men of GOd used the most in recent years have had a insane amount of scripture knowledge. They however did what most dont wait for...they WAITED FOR GOD To lead them to the scriptures...instead of leading themselves to it. When GOD leads you cant put it down. But when its out of fleshly desire to know then its wrong.

Just like its wrong to follow a spirit with out testing it First.

TO back up my Brother Ramon, in what i think his point is in allot of hs posts.

there is a HUGE difference between Spending time with a BOOK and spending time in the presence of the almighty. The Bible wont always lead one to GOD, but GOD Will always lead one to the Scriptures.

To dictate our life by a book, yet NOT be led by the Holy spirit IS infact a form of sorcery. Just look at the many Cults adn false doctrines that use the SAME bible we have in our possesion.


But thank you Ramon. I had to rant...hahah hadnt done it all day. Praise Jesus for late night ranting!

Well it never has been a choice to have one or the other. The Holyspirit and His word is one. There is no division.
What has to be taught IS NOT one over the other, but a willing humility before the Father from the heart.
Then it all works out fine.

To make this a division is wrong. So teach it correctly if your not wanting to cause trouble in the body. And choose up sides
and run around forming gangs.

I dont see anyone forming Gangs.

And it HAS been a choice to have one or the other. You CAN still be led into all truth without a Bible. To say you cant Denies the soverignty of GOD and is Spirit. Just like you can know the Bible inside and out, and have NO relationship with the LORD.

But thats it. The MAIN thing is LOVE of our brothers and sisters. With out that everthing else is just noise.

Sometimes Love goes Nehemiah on you. But Not ALWAYS most of the time it turns the other cheek and stays quiet. May I learn that more and more Jesus bless you.

I had never considered that the tree of life was not forbidden.
Brings much to think about in Jesus.

i don't suppose that would be written anywhere: that would make the word contradict itself.

The bible(inspired word of God, logos - rhema) comes from the tree of life, knowledge of Jesus concealed / revealed. A religious spirit comes from the tree of knowledge of good and evil,
