So don't deny reality -- she does teach and have authority over men in the church, period. And that's unbiblical. (And yah she's had some pretty questionable teaching -- I can post an audio here if you like).

Women who want to "preach" could do a whole lot more good by preaching these womanly things to other women, like Paul suggested they do (as AnandaHya quoted):

4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
Holly, what can i say?

I seem to recall a certain book... I think it's called the Bible... and i think it says something about sowing discord.......

There was no hell yet, hell was created for Satan and his demons, the unsaved souls who do not repent of their sins by asking god's forgiveness through Jesus' shed blood on the cross before they die end up in hell too. But i believe god has a plan to save everybody. Joyce Meyer and the word of faith are wrong.

As for women preaching the gospel, why would God have a problem with it? Man or woman, God does not discrimminate, it is human beings who discrimminate, God loves his human children equally. Men and women, children, all races, ethnicities, nations, creeds, religions, handicaps, disabilities, sexual orientations, sizes, shapes, abilities, languages, classes, jobs, are equal before God.

To say a woman cannot preach simply because she is a woman is sexist discrimmination. Even if it is in the Bible, take it with a grain of salt. The Bible is very old. Things were really different back then. Women did not have rights, and they were not educated. There is a lot of stuff in the Bible that is outdated and no longer matters. The Bible was written by men, and men made it say what they wanted it to say.

As for Jesus in hell, I believe after dying on the cross, Jesus's soul went to sheol the land of the dead, to conquer death and take the power of death away from Hades and Satan. Hades is a demon, a fallen angel working for Satan who rules the land of the dead, much like the classical Greek god, except he is a demon, not really a god, the "gods" are demonic fallen angels or nephilim, offspring of fallen rebelious angels of Lucifer and early human women. I am writing a novel about the creation of the universe and the war in heaven, it's going to be very exciting, I am making up my own story of how the tree of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil came to be, very interesting. Hades has a mate/wife Lilith/Persephone, her story is very complicated and tragic, it is one of stolen innocence and injustice, I have mixed the tale of the Semitic/Jewish demoness Lilith, first wife of Adam with that of Persephone in Greek mythology.

Oh yeah, got off track.... Jesus beat up Hades and Satan and the demons and took the keys of death and Hades from Satan. He went down to the underworld as conquerer. He freed the prisoners, the souls of the dead, especially the old testament prophets and hebrews, and in his mercy and compassion witnessed and preached to the souls of dead pagans, so that they too could be saved.

It's my experience that you can not force people not to watch Joyce Meyers. I wish I could. My grandmother watches Joyce. Most of what Joyce says is harmless. I would be more worried about people on this site talking to my grandmother. Lucky for me, my wife doesn't watch Joyce Meyers or I really might have something to say. Honestly, I don't want women to watch Joyce Meyers. I said let the women watch her instead of the men in light of the OP's original post and I believe it works for TV, books, and women speaking at church. I have walked out of churches when they let women speak, more than once. Boycott women speakers!

boycott charismatic false prophets!

P.S. I would take Joyce Meyers over Cessationist and a group of conspiracy theorist any day. Some of the threads on this site are more dangerous than Joyce Meyers.
II do not plan to keep silent because what I believe bothers you.
neither do i

Pentecost was known languages not gibbering like a pagan.

and it happened one time, just like the foundation laid: no matter what AoG taught you, there's no Latter Rain Joel outpouring where sons and daughters (like jonahan the false prophet) will prophesy. just satan's last vomit from Asuza Street

Take some courses on hermenuetics and learn HOW to STUDY the text IN CONTEXT. You will learn to differentiate between Scripture that was written SPECIFICALLY to a certain group of people OF THAT DAY, from those written to the body at large.
wait......what?
suddenly we are willing to read historical accounts in context when it suits us, but not if we are Pentecostal and need that continuationism and Latter Rain?

ROTFLMHO!

Azusa street was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. You blaspheme the Holy Spirit. I do not believe you are saved. How many times do you think you will get away with saying that the work of the Spirit is something from Satan? I told people you Cessationist were in the worst danger. It is the most dangerous false doctrine in the Church. Manathama, Maranatha.

That's ridiculous, and I'm a Continuationist.

I listen to her all the time and have heard none of this. Who else can you read from your God haters group. There sure is a lot of you. Joyce Meyers does more to help poor people and spread the word of God than you.
Same here. I've listened to her for years and never heard her say anything like what Zone said. I've also read some of her books. I would have to say that Zone's sources are questionable.

Oh, look Zone, I don't care because you are Anathama, Maranatha. Continuationist are traitors if they agree with you. You blasphemed the Holy Spirit. It's sad when it's easy to see that you follow false doctrine. It's even more sad to see you always calling the outpouring of the Holy Spirit something of Satan. But you don't listen. You still didn't answer how you added to 1 Corinthians 13. Nothing about the completition of the Bible or the founding of the Church is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13. Your judgment day will be the sadest of them all.

God had signs and wonders at the time of the churches foundational period and the giving of doctrine.
It was to verify, it was to show where it came from. It was judged by the Oldtestament.

When a new supernatural movement comes. And has false doctrine. We know it isnt from God.
He would never give the signs and supernatural vindication to false doctrine.

That is the truth. And by that a christian needs to have no fear to say it like it is. Most charismatic
movements were not from God. And still are not. Run Forrest run!

Opps...paragraph 2....therefore the signs and supernaturals were not from God either
So where did they come from....take your time...its an important question

Here's the audio for all the Joyce Meyer fans:

Joyce Meyer Error

Eat it up.

Some good extrabiblical nuggets there, like "it's cold in hell".
I think it is about time we reminded everyone of this audio which proves Joyce Meyer is blaspemous. Please listen to ALL of it, not just a few minutes because Joyce's blasphemies (from her own lips) do not show up until about 4 minutes has been played.
