- Israel was to have a new religion and be saved by the Lord. Jeremiah 31:7, 31:31-37
- Israel was to be blind for the most part to her identity as Israel. Isaiah 42:16-19
- Israel was to be called by a new name. Isaiah 62:1-2
- Israel was to carry the gospel of the Lord to all the world. Isaiah 49:3-6
- Israel were to have a new covenant not like Mosaic covenant and to bear the name of the Lord. Hebrews 8:9
The only people that fit the Biblical description as the House of Israel which are a people and not a geographical location are the people who have God's Name, and His name is Christ, you do not have the father unless you have the Son who has recieved the Name which is above all other Names and the only name given by which man can be saved, the House of Israel is made up entirely of Christians - Christ-sons, we bear His Name as the House of Israel and are in covenant with God as per Hebrews 8:8-12.
