Re: Who did Jesus say would be told to "depart" from Him because he didn't know them?

lol. We were chosen BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD to be adopted into Gods family, to be made holy and blameless. To be Justified before God. --- This is not a laughing matter. I spoke truth to you, so seek not a rebuttal in a correction, but seek God's understanding. So this thread is not derailed, I will not reply anymore. But, if you wish, we can start a new thread.
We = those of faith. It was God who predetermined beforehand that salvation would be by faith, and by such a plan, we received justification from the adverse sentencing of death. Indeed, faith in the works of the Christ is what has justified us. What purpose is there in following Christ, if we, after all, have been predestined for death? What purpose is there for one to leave the rebellion, if we, after all, have been predestined for life? The only thing which has been predestined is salvation through faith.
so tell me. How can we be chosen to be given eternal life and adopted as Gods eternal sons BEFORE the foundation of the world. Then 1. Be given it when God knows we will lose it for whatever reason, and 2, have it taken away after we were given it? Did God get fooled somehow into thinking we would get it, then have to take it back because we did not deserve it? --- All humans have been offered everlasting life, the opportunity to leave the rebellion, seeing that He died for all. And it is said to all, WHOSOEVER believes in the Son shall not perish. Therefore, God has chosen to offer life and sonhood through faith and not deeds since the foundation of the world. Your point one disagrees with God being able to erase one's name from the Book of Life. Have we not all given a present to only find out that the person lost it by a choice of an action? Second point is that God did not take it away, but you forfeited it when your heart becomes stubborn to His Voice. Never think that we deserved His gracious act of love He showed through the works of Christ. No, everlasting life is a free gift offered to all who believes.
As paul said, are we to be fools thinking we begin our eternal life by the spirit, then my perfect our salvation by the works of the law or being good enough? -- Again, salvation is a free gift offered through God's gracious act of having justification received through faith. We have not and we cannot earn it. But are we to be fools to think that we can have a faithless heart after salvation and still enter into His rest?
If Salvation is by grace, and is freely given to people who do not deserve it. Then it can not be taken away because someone did not deserve to keep it. We did not deserve it, we will never deserve it. and to say otherwise it to place to much faith in self and not enough faith in God. -- So then, is God a liar to have said a name can be blotted out from the Lamb's Book of Life?
As for book of life. I believe everyone is written in, untilt hey die, those blotted out are done so because they committed the unpardonable sin, which is to reject the grace of God. -- Not according to those two verses which states a willful deception, a willful hardening of the heart. Plus, how can those who never believed in the works of the Christ have been written it that Book if they do not have Life, Jesus, in them by faith?
