This new version of the forum software has a video embed feature built in. In the previous version, we had to add our custom BB code to allow that. Now that we've upgraded the forum to the newest version which has its own video embed feature, we'll convert the existing ones to to use the built-in BB code, then hopefully this problem will be solved.
Give me some time to convert the existing ones. For now all such posts just contain the link instead of the embedded video. (At least it doesn't break pages anymore.) I'm talking about posts from before our forum upgrade.
Video embedding will indeed work for new posts. Just be sure to use the built in feature instead of our old custom bb code. There's a button in the editor (a film strip icon). If you want to embed a video, simply click that.
