I have seen much of dividing 'faith' and repentance' on this forum. It's as if you must first repent
and then you believe.
I contend that true repentance and faith cannot be separated but they are two sides of the same coin.
Think of it this way,
repentance = involves turning away from
faith = involves turning to or towards
Let's say the world is on my left side and the cross is on my right side ; then I cannot turn to the cross without of necessity turn away from the world...they happen simultaneously.
Some here hammer away at 'turning away' from the world and it's lusts etc. but have not the equal emphasis of 'turning to' Jesus, as a matter of error some even see repentance happening separate from faith in Jesus.
Others (and I haven't sensed antinomianism here on this bible forum) in the world may stress turning to Jesus with no concept of turning away from the world. Simply those in love with the world are not ready to turn to Jesus.
Jesus stated this plainly when He said …

See how true repentance and true faith both go hand in hand?
