Am I born again?

First we have to determine what is born again. What does GOD say born again is. So let ussee...
John 3. Jesus said: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, hecannot see the kingdom of God.
If Jesus left us with this we would even be more mislead bythe false teachers, who also claim to be “born again Christians”. FortunatelyNicodemus also had no idea what Jesus was talking about, so Jesus added this...
Verily, verily,I say unto thee, Except a man be born of waterand of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born ofthe flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that Isaid unto thee, Ye must be born again.
What is this born of WATER and SPIRIT? And so many falseteachers teach that this is H[SUB]2[/SUB]O the water we get in our rivers andthe oceans and dams and swimming-pools. Others think it is mom’s birth water. etc.But is it that water? Is there any other water that God knows about and teachesus about? Is there a more HEAVENLY gift of water?

What water is this....John 4 If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is thatsaith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he wouldhave given thee living water.
And what water is this.....He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of hisbelly shall flow rivers of living water.

Where can a person getthis water? Is there more than ONE SOURCE of this water of life? We know we canget it from Jesus, because He said to this woman at the well that HE would havegiven her living waters. And in Revelations Jesus confirms that HE can and willgive this to whosoever THIRST for it. Rev 21.. It is done. Iam Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that isathirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. FREELY!All we have to do is THRIST.

It looks like Godgives so much that it will actually FLOW out of our bellies... And we see thatJesus calls it a GIFT of God when he spoke to the woman at the well.... If thouknewest the gift of GOD! What is the gift of God? LIVING WATERS and HOLYSPIRIT! RE-BIRTH! Ah! We got it... God’s GIFT is Re-Birth. Birth of LIVINGWATER and HOLY SPIRIT! Do we know what Holy Spirit is, do you really? Holy Spiritis GOD! Please do not just hear this, KNOW this. Holy Spirit is GOD! If you sayyou have the Holy Spirit in you, YOU HAVE GOD IN YOU!
That means BOTH Christ Jesus andthe Father is IN YOU! Do you think that if they are in you that you are now asholy as they are holy? Remember there isno degree to holiness. You are either holy or you are not! I ask again, if God’sHoly Spirit is in you, are you holy or not? If God’s Spirit cannot make youholy, NOTHING can! And If He is in a person, can that person still be unholy?Well if that person can, that means God did not give effectively enough, so theHoly Spirit has to be given again, and even more than Him...more of Him to getthe person holy? Or does God not makepeople holy? Adam and Eve were holy, until they committed the sin, then theywere unholy! God speaks about HOLY MEN OF GOD (2 Peter 1:21) were they not asholy as God is holy? If they were not, why does God refer to them as “HOLY MEN”?Ok we get that now, holy is holy, and anything else is unholy.

Then Jesus gives the ultimate clearance on this subject...that which isborn of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of THE Spirit is Spirit. All thatis BORN OF THE SPIRIT, IS SPIRIT. Then Jesus makes it more clear what amazingcreatures this BORN AGAIN people are... Marvel not that I said untothee, Ye must be born again. Joh 3:8 The wind blowethwhere it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whenceit cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.WHO CONTROLS THE WIND? WHO CONTROLS ALL RE-BORN, HOLY PEOPLE?
2 Peter 1:21... but holy men of God spake as they were movedby the Holy Ghost. EVERY move is by the Holy Ghost ofGOD! That is what BORN AGAIN means! Is that why God teaches .... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; forhis seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

That will only make sense if it is the Spirit of God thatcontrols every thought, move and word of the person who is BORN OF GOD! It wasvery evident in Jesus that the Holy Spirit CANNOT sin. And is that not he SEEDof God that HE puts in the person... The Holy Spirit producing only HOLYFRUIT.... God says, a tree can only bear one of two fruits... Good or bad.

Good fruit is Holy Spirit fruit, bad fruit is ANY OTHERspirits fruit. Jesus in the flesh of the Son of man, the Son of God, SHOWED uswhat life the Holy Spirit lives... ONE 100% in God’s will. And He can only livethat life. He also does it in EVERY PERSON BORN OF THAT SPIRIT.

God says clearly ...whosoever is BORN of God cannot sin, thatmeans the moment you are Born of God you are sinless! Not before. I sin so I amnot reborn!

I am NOT born again, Istill move myself that is why I sin. My seed still has to die. I kill it withrepentance! I hang it on the cross, and AFTER the cross, there is LIFEAGAIN.... God’s holy life is the only life for HIS BORN OF THE SPIRIT! Paul said it so beautiful.... I am crucifiedwith Christ, and only Jesus lives in me... Iam crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth inme:....

I am not crucified yet, but I am busy following Jesuswith my cross, who knows how long does it take? God knows.

Being born again is being made alive in Christ. As Paul says in Titus, We were not saved by works of righteousness we have done (good deeds) but by the washing and renewing of the holy spirit.

Yes, we are made alive by the spirit. But we do not become sinless by the spirit. being born again is not being made sinless. It is being given the righteousness which Christ had. And thus justified freely by his blood. It is his blood which lceanses us from all sin. We can not clean ourselves.

Being born again is being made perfect. As scripture says, he has PERFECTED FOREVER those who are being sanctified in Christ.

The moment we are born again, we are seen as perfect forever by God.. But we must sanctify ourselves. this happens as we learn the true love of God. Sin is anything done not out of love for others. Since we can not love, unless we first know and understand the great depths of the love God has for us. We can not possibly all of a sudden become sinless. We must learn gods love and participate in it before we have the capacity to love others and even start to look like Christ. This is called sanctification.

Please do not listen to things like this. The poster wants to save himself by becoming righteous first. when this is impossible. Jesus told Nicodemus how to be born again, And in doing so he tells us all.

For God so loved the world he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him (true faith) will never perish, but HAS ETERNAL LIFE.

this life is in Christ. and it is eternal.. It is not becoming sinless. it is being made alive in Christ. The more we grow in the love of Christ, the more we will be like him.

I AGREE with Eternally grateful, Being bor again is being made alive in Christ.... 100% correct, and 100% in tune with what I said... But God says, if a seed does not DIE FIRST, it cannot produce fruit.... Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

The SAME with us Abiding, WE CANNOT BRING FORTH GOOD WORKS IF WE DO NOT DIE OFF THE OLD MAN FIRST! Only AFTER repentance is COMPLETE can the next stage of Righteouness be done. That is the Baptism of Holy Spirit! The BORN AGAIN! You have to die spiritually (repent from all wrongdoing as the holy Spirit reproof you) before you will be MADE ALIVE in Christ... And not only you made alive in Christ, but HE IN YOU AS WELL!

That is what Jesus asked the Father in John 17.

I challenge all people to read John 17, and 1 John 3. Do a study and see how God works BORN OF GOD! How Jesus is in us and we in Him. It is a PERFECT relationship, with Jesus as the KING AND LORD OF LIFE!

It has NOTHING to do on what you do, it is what you OBEY! God does all the lead and the fulfilling, ALL you have to do is FOLLOW Jesus in the WORD OF GOD! Jesus will lead you in Truth (righteousness) to Truth... ANd that Truth that I shared here today will make you free. FREE from ALL EVIL! Even false teachings.

Please do a quiet session with God in John 17, and 1 John 3, and see how God does all, to make us HIS CHILDREN! It is GREAT how powerful God saves. GREAT!

Your righteousness is impure, mixed with sins. But, Christ’s righteousness is 100% pure. And, God is ready to credit Christ’s perfect righteousness to you if you trust in Him.

If your waiting to get saved till your good enough....just give it up. Its a total insult to God.

Again, a major flaw in your thinking. Before we are born again, we are already dead spiritually. In fact Scripture tells us we are born that way. Repenting is not dieing spiritually. it is admitting your dead spiritually. Abiding in Christ is done after we are saved. Then and only then can we bear good fruit. A person who is not born again can not bear any fruit, good or bad. they are still DEAD!.

Nothing here about dieing to self, or being righteous. It is all about believing in Christ.

Nothing about obeying here. All about believing in him. It is about being one, united in God through Christ, It is all about knowing the love of God. How are we perfected? by becoming sinless? NO!

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.! It is by the blood of Christ and us believing in him we are perfected by the offering of christ (the cross)
Not by becoming sinless, but by one offering? who's offering? Christ's

But notice the most important part. It does not say we who are perfected ARE SANCTIFIED. it says we are being sanctified. Thus your whole doctrine falls on its face, your trying to perfect yourself, when you will never be able to do so.

You need to do some studying. We are not born again by being perfect sinless. we are born again so we may learn how to live a life free of sin.. You have it backwards. It is the blood of christ which makes us perfect. as it washes us and makes us white as snow,

We simply receive the Hoy Spirit by faith, soo simple. The Lord leads the happening of this process that seals your being with Him, by His grace on the cross He showed you and you chose to believe, or, as abiding's verses aptly stated, you HAD faith in Him to be saved by His wonderful grace that came unto all by God sacrificing His only, begotten (born, birthed) son on a tree.
You accept Him (faith in Him GAINS Him, Phil. 3:8,9,) and you HAVE RIGHTEOUSNESS, and, praise God, by His grace, YOU have indeed, been saved, through faith in Him, that He gave you to begin with, your 'measure..'
INCREASE it, My child, I will lead show you how, follow Me. I will increase your faith, in my good will and pleasure, now that you are LIKE ME, having, denied your self (it's all about Him, not us, this 'grace' realization, from His calling), picked up your cross (faith to acept Him as Lord and Saviour, becoming a 'whosoever' of Romans 10:13 and John 3:16), and 'follow Me.' ( Faith in His leai, accepting His 'lot' for your life, doing His 'job' Jer. 29:11, Psalms 139, €phesians 2:10)

If they want to constantly preach a different gospel, and start a thread, then it has to be called out
and put down.

to preach we get perfect before we get saved....is an insult to the grace of God
to His honor, to the cross, to the shed blood, and to the glorious gospel.

Are you gona get all soppy over it? if so then your involved in it, and are in support of it.
Or you better judge it....and if its bad enough throw up the red flag.

Faith! Christian! Child of God! Re-born. Oh these things are thrown around so much! Let us take faith. Which of you preachers here has faith???? If faith in Christ like Stephan had is a measure of say 10. Please give me an estimated amount of your faith. Mine I would say is about 2/10. And I am ashamed that it is so low. Why is it so low, I have no idea!

What was my faith like in my estimation when I healed people in prayer? About 9/10. Then God SHOWED me how much I know of Him, and it fell to 0/10.

Whom of you have faith like Stephan had? Whom of you would you say is FULL of the Holy Ghost? You all talk about being grown or matured or being sanctified, and all this LEADING and making holy and cleansing... Where does all this go too?

To what level does this righteousness grow, or what ever you want to call it. Where does the Holy Spirit lead you too. If you live by faith IN CHRIST, and He lives in you, where does the sin come from? Is neither your faith, nor the imputed Christ enough to OVERCOME the evil?

You are all wrong! God is right.... He that sinneth is of the devil.... How many times do I need to sin to be one that sinneth?

God says for this reason Jesus was menifest.... TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL. If Jesus MANIFEST in you, ALL SIN IS DESTROYED. I KNOW God's BORN OF GOD CHILDREN DOES NOT SIN... I KNOW this, you that claim to be His Born of GOD does not even know this.

Look what the BIBLE SAYS: We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

No matter what you say, this verse will always come up trumps! He that is BEGOTTON of God KEEPS HIMSLEF AND THE WICKET ONE TOUCHETH HIM NOT.... You all claim to be still touched by the wicket one....SIN!

If sin is to not love... then I am perfect already. Look what horrible things you say to me, but I still love you. God is greater than you make Him, and you KNOW HIM NOT! Even if Jesus repeats ONE sentance here to you, YOU WILL TAKE HIM ON!

I will get saved because I TRUST JESUS with HIS WORK. And HE is the One that have me type these things. I am sharing Love and GOOD message. Your doctrines are not smelling too nice at the moment. I NEVER claimed that it is my works that saved me, I said.... We not only have to lay down sin... Repent is to STOP SINNING! We also have to do the GOOD things God tells us to do... God says in Timothy .. Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.... What a hypocrate will I be if I sin and want to rebuke another sinner.

Come on guys and girls, have you EVER read your Bibles? The whole Word of God is.... DO NOT SIN. BE HOLY, BE PERFECT. REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED. TURN TO GOD. COME TO THE LIGHT! It all points to ONE event.... God putting HIS SPIRIT IN FLESH so that that flesh can DO HIS WILL!

That is REBORN, BORN AGAIN, and BORN OF GOD! Nothing less. Jesus come in the flesh.... YOUR FLESH! That is the Spirit of the Christ. If God does not witness IN YOU, YOU ARE of the spirit of the ANTI-CHRIST. And a lier! Satan's child.

Trust not all spirits but put try them all, for MANY is false and of the anti-christ. Those that CANNOT confess Jesus is come in the flesh (their flesh) is NOT OF GOD but of the ANTI-Christ.

How does a person confess Jesus in them..... They CANNOT SIN! Just read the whole book of 1 John, God will confirm this. He wrote it, I only believe it! Thisw is NOT my words it is God's Word from the book of 1 John. All these verses are there.

No matter how hard the CLEVER people try to nullify God's work, He will not let HIS WORD be scoffed at. Read the book of 1 John, it is BEAUTIFUL and POWERFUL.

1. That passage does NOT say whoever is born of God never sins again, This is your faulty interpretation. If it says this, John contradicts himself in John 1: 8 where he says clearly if we (John included himself) say we have no sin (present tense active) we deceive ourselves and there is no truth in us.

2. Why do you ingore the passage which clearly states God perfected those forever those who are being sanctified? If we are perfected before we are sanctified completely. then we can not be sinless. No matter how many times you want to say you are.

Faith! Christian! Child of God! Re-born. Oh these things are thrown around so much! Let us take faith. Which of you preachers here has faith???? If faith in Christ like Stephan had is a measure of say 10. Please give me an estimated amount of your faith. Mine I would say is about 2/10. And I am ashamed that it is so low. Why is it so low, I have no idea!

What was my faith like in my estimation when I healed people in prayer? About 9/10. Then God SHOWED me how much I know of Him, and it fell to 0/10.

Whom of you have faith like Stephan had? Whom of you would you say is FULL of the Holy Ghost? You all talk about being grown or matured or being sanctified, and all this LEADING and making holy and cleansing... Where does all this go too?

To what level does this righteousness grow, or what ever you want to call it. Where does the Holy Spirit lead you too. If you live by faith IN CHRIST, and He lives in you, where does the sin come from? Is neither your faith, nor the imputed Christ enough to OVERCOME the evil?

You are all wrong! God is right.... He that sinneth is of the devil.... How many times do I need to sin to be one that sinneth?

Greenie, God is teaching me patience at the moment. They did FAR worse things to Jesus, let them be my friend. I am so set in Truth, I actually am not surprised by the reactions. Did Jesus not say the world will hate us? Did he not say EVERY person that follows me will be persecuted.... He did, and I accept! Look how they twist what is said, by me and by the WORD of God.

Learn from this my friend. If you do not agree with them you are not a BIBLE TEACHER. Yet NOT one verse they posted can proove that God wants us PERFECT! NOT ONE! And there twisted idea of perfection is almost dung! God wants us to be LIKE Christ, so HE IS THE STANDARD! And ALL God's chldren are made to HIS FULNESS AND MEASURE....

Ephesians 4: 13. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
