In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Rev 22:2

Blue green micro alga (try it B_L), E3 Live, Wheatgrass, Spirulina, Chlorella, Goji berries, Mulberries, Macca, Carob, Dorian, Leches, Kiwis, Camu Camu, Luchema, Cactus fruit, Tomatillas, Aloe Vera plant, Lemongrass, Fennel, young Coconut water, and meat, and of course...Fratashmae of Appleday.
Eat only those for 3 weeks, and your body chemistry will undergo a dramatic change.

Don't try selling me on THAT again..

What could b wrong with that, blu? We have tried spirulina, that blue green algae.. just like a candy that colors ur tongue when u chew it instead of swallowing-). But not sweet. I know many like their meds (and food) sweet, even chewy like thee gummy vyts, but this isnt even bitter. And this is the health foods thread.

I understand it is now incorporated in imported cereals, drinks, etc. but we never really buy much for they can be expensive. And we have moringa abundantly so guess just need to be practical.

If you like lemons and limes , I usually put them in two separate Ziploc bags or sealed bags and then I put them in the refrigerator; so they won't be hardened and decayed.. They last longer .... :)

When blueberry season arrives I buy blueberries in bulk. Then I take cookie sheets, line them with paper towels, rinse the blueberries, dry the berries, put them on the sheets and slide them into the freezer. Once frozen I pack the berries into glass jars. They last the whole year. Frozen blueberries are such a perfect snack!

Another thing that freezes well: peppers. In August I usually buy a bunch of peppers, chop them up and freeze them in bags. Later I put them in stews and soups.

My friend's mother showed me how to cook spiced tomatoes & can them. It makes a wonderful base for chili.

Peaches and pears also are easy to can. Apples last a really long time if you keep them in the fridge.

Consider keeping pots of basil, oregano and cilantro. Also if you have any room to grow greens, consider
arugula. Arugula is very, very easy to grow. It's bitter and spicy when it matures. But if you cut it when it's young and tender it has an almost nutty taste to it. It's really good.

There's nothing wrong with it at all. It's a fantastic suggestion for those who want to be educated and are earnestly looking to make a positive change in their health and life long term. Keep posting advice Joseph, it's what these communities and the world at large desperately need.

Does anyone know about a weed that looks a little like Dollar Weed and has a sweet and sour taste? I have seen and eaten it in Vermont, Delaware and Florida and suspect it might make a good ingredient in certain salads. I'm not much into salads, but do eat many raw veggies.

Just wanted to let you know that I have done a couple of things differently than I told you about in post #11. I have found that in frost free refrigerators the air inside stays dry enough, we have few door openings, that just putting holes in vegetable bags works as well as using paper towels. I get grapes from Sam's Club and they come in a large plastic cubical container with a lot of air holes in it. After separating and washing the grapes I put them back in that container, after washing the inside of it also, and they have been keeping better than with the paper towel in a plastic freezer bag.

Also in post #28 I said the weed looked like Dollar Weed, but I remembered wrong. It looks a little like the leaves of the small white clover.
