You will need ;
2 slices of bread
1 banana
peanutbutter
jelly/jam
knife

1.Put peanutbutter on one slice of bread
2.Put Jelly/jam on the other slice of bread
3.Cut a banana in two using a knife and place them between the two slices of bread
4.you can also grill it if you like to.

Enjoy ; )

Great recipe, man. I don't think the directions were specific enough, though. You didn't say to only spread filling on ONE SIDE of each slice of bread. Oh well, I know now for next time. I'll send you the bill for the napkins I used. Wish they came in larger packages; the table is still sticky after setting the sandwich down for a sec. You didn't mention a plate, which would have helped. I need to start thinking for myself, I suppose. LOL :) ;)

It should be USDA organic, 100% PURE PEANUT peanut butter. The stuff you get in the grocery store is half added oil and sugar. Peanut is naturally very oily (and its own oil is a better oil), and it takes just fine without sugar. No sense in watering it down with unhealthy ingredients.

Also the bread should be 100% whole wheat. And toasted. :D

Oh and I forgot -- it must be CRUNCHY (USDA organic 100% pure peanut peanut-butter). That way it's more meaty, less messy, thicker, and works better as a true meat substitute. :)

And no need for the jelly. Gotta appreciate the crunchy true 100% pure peanut butter, on the toasted 100% whole wheat.

But really, I like to mix the peanut butter and the jelly together before I spread it on the bread. Delicious xD
