You guys are crazy Kale is delicious. Especially when put it through your juicer and make fresh kale, apple, celery, carrot, spinach and orange juice in the morning. Thats like a super breakfast in a cup. Although my body eats right through it and im hungry again in a few hours :(
It does sound healthy, but between the kale and carrots, I would have to hold my nose and choke it down. blech!! :p

The other night all I had was sausages, so I emptied the meat from the cases and fried it, chopping it really finely into a mince. Then I put it into the slow cooker with some curry paste and a bit of soy, some chilli and .. I don't actually remember everything it was a bit improvised. Oh and mushrooms. Anyway it made sort of a sausage hotpot and had it with rice with some marg mixed through it... it was nice but when it came to eating the leftovers I didn't want it again. So I mixed the mince mix through the rice and added cream, bok choy, cheese and pepper. Rolled it into balls and crumbed and fried it. It was very good.

It's super hot, so I am mostly lying on the couch and celebrating that I have AC again.

Too hot to cook....so I was gonna make a raspberry smoothie. I took one gulp of it, then realized the milk I had used in it was sour. yuk!! :(

So instead, I ate the rest of a can of tuna I had in fridge. Later I think I'll have some sauerkraut and/or salad....definitely gonna drown my sorrows in some ginger ale.

Nnnnnnoo! *Snatches the ginger ale* No sorrow drowning. *looks at you sternly*

Forgive me. I've started trying to stop stuffing my emotions with food and I'm ready to gnaw my hand off so I'm a bit high strung and mission-focused and I guess I couldn't help projecting it. I need to visit the health support thread I think. Soemone should start like an EA - Eaters Annon... I suddenly can't remember how to spell Ann .. on ..o ..mous... it feels like there should be a y in there somewhere. Man I'm hungry.

I had a crepe with fruit custard for breakfast and some rice and pumpkin for lunch.

Breakfast time in these here parts:

getting rid of some leftover Brussels sprouts...chopped them up and scrambling them up with eggs, 2 sausage links. Gonna put some grated Havarti over it.

On my second cup of coffee.....slow to wake up this morning. My "ritual" is to have one black cup, then the second with cream and stevia (vanilla flavored). Today, my second cup is black, like the first....maybe a third cup is in order today.

Left over baked potatoes. Try making this. Yum yum. Not for those trying to lose weight. fortunately I don't have to worry about getting fat. I already am. LOL

Cut 4 large baked potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh. Melt 2/3 cup butter in a saucepan. Stir in 2/3 cup flour and cook 1 minute. Add 6 cups milk and cook over medium, stirring constantly until bubbly. Stir in potato, 2 tablespoons diced green onions and 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese. Cook until heated through, and then stir in 1 cup sour cream. Garnish with crumbled bacon, diced green onions and cheddar cheese. Meanwhile, brush the potato skins inside and out with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Fill with crumbled, crisp bacon, diced green onions and cheddar cheese. Bake at 450 F for 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh sour cream and serve.

It's funny how sometimes one recipe snowballs into a constant cycle of using up leftovers. I had the privellege of meeting my brother djsozo who was over here meeting LenaMichelle for three months, and after a history (I wonder if there's even anyone around anymore who would remember this) of making detailed decorated cookies for my cc friends that they only ever got to see pictures of, I just had to do some for them that they could actually eat.

I had leftover icing and don't like to throw things away, so I made microwave cupcakes on a day when I really shouldn't even have been cooking. It wasn't a cooking day. Half of them were ok, but some had to be thrown in a blender where I added cocoa and some other things and rolled them in balls and covered them in coconut.

So then there were chocolate truffles in the fridge.

Then the other day I had crepes and there was some mixture left over.

Well, unfortunately, this household has a deep fryer. And I was having a very Saturdayish kind of Saturday.

So guess what got battered and deep fried and eaten over a round of Zelda Twilight Princess.

It was a little bit too amazing. And I'm feeling none too guilty. *Looks down at tummy and shakes head*

I had pad Thai this evening.Pad Thai is rice noodles cooked with peanut oil, fish sauce an bean sprouts with either prawn, chicken or beef strips.
It's serves with a lime wedge and crushed, dry roasted peanuts and is super yum!

Had some home made rip-off pad-thai (rip off because it's the easier way and I don't care about cheating :p) and a brandy flavored snow cone for dessert. non-alcoholic.
EDIT
I just saw Mooky's comment from last night and now I feel like a copycat lol
