I think it's great. I would like to get a semi-automatic, or even automatic if it was legal. What keeps me back is that I think investing in the Gospel is more important that a gun.
Matthew 5:38-39

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Isaiah 50:6
I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.

jimmydiggs;1324369 It's not dangerous when you follow God's recommendations about farming. ;) Most livestock in America are raised in tremendously unsanitary conditions. I'm generally supportive of organic food production. [URL said:

God spoke about milking cows?

Organic food is healthier of course.

And cool website. :) It's very nice.
If you know them, you can ask them to give you a puppy . They look very cute.:)

I'm not sure I could say those verses negate self-defense in an assault, but I hope I would still be committed to non-violence were that to occur.

I don't know that he spoke specifically about milking cows in the 21st century, but there are principles God gives that do apply.

I assumed you mentioned guns for self defense purpose.

Elaborate on cow-milkingly Godly principles :)

I think they should be available for that.

Let's start with this and go from there.

Proverbs 12:10
The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.

What are the implications?

Believe it or not, politics and cow milking are related.

At least in America.

Well, we'll start with a few statements.

The righteous who cares for the needs of his animals doesn't merely treat them as dollar signs. That's a significant problem we have here, animals are seen as dollar signs, and so they are not cared for as one ought to. Animals, as with all our possessions are given to us for stewardship. We must use it wisely, and with respect. This doesn't mean we need to save mother Gaia and should join PETA. We shouldn't worship animals or the earth.

Psalm 50:10
For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.

We are to use it, as with all other resources on earth with God in mind.

Factory farming is part of what is such a challenge with keeping milk clean. It's pastuerized because industrialization has touched something it shouldn't have.

If you keep your conditions clean, and not engage in the factory party the raw milk isn't safe, and actually nutrition wise is better for you.

Ok I agree.

People tend to think of animals as dumb creatures and only present for a use.
That just reminds me of Balaam's donkey. When Balaam's donkey spoke, it made complete sense.

Numbers 22:27-33

When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?”
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.”

[SUP]30 [/SUP]The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?”
“No,” he said.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.

[SUP]32 [/SUP]The angel of the Lord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.[SUP][a][/SUP] [SUP]33 [/SUP]The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.”

People forget that animals are living creatures too.

And though God has given us dominion over all birds and animals - livestock, fish, birds and animals (Gen 1:26), I am sure we will have to be accountable for everything, including our acts of cruelty. Like you said, and the verses posted, we are merely stewards of what God has given us.

But here's the deal. The population of the world is around 7 billion. Factory-style production aims to cater to the mass needs.

I didn't know much of such milking standards were unsanitary. What do they do? Keep cows locked up together without proper food?

Hey everyone,

Changes in the political scenario in India is about to take place. I am following it, with some interest albeit not with passion.

If anyone is following it closely, I'd love to hear what they think.

But also more importantly, I hope that everyone remembers to keep this in prayer. Please pray that whatever the outcome, and whoever forms the government of India they would be people who would support and not suppress our Christian brethren.

A lot of the exit polls show a saffron trend, and the rise of Narenda Modi as the new PM.

It's worrying to know that right wing Hindutva powers might come next in the government, and what that would mean to India on a national and spiritual level, I am unsure of. So please keep this in prayer.

Also, please keep praying that elements of corruption and people who practice injustice will be dealt with by God.

Thank you,

God bless you.

A sister in Christ.
Even in OT we got esther husband Ahasuerus king nonbeliever but god used him to deliver isreal people through Ester, it is god in control irrespective who comes in power, yes will pray to god to give us good leaders :)
