Do you know how much contempt Jesus had for prostitutes? I don't know, so tell me, please.

A woman could steal, they could live off of government hand outs, or she could use a marketable skill to make a living. If that skill is sex work, it is what it is. I respect her.

No contempt, but no looking at it from your point of view. The prostitutes in Jesus' day had no governmental welfare services to fall back on (no food stamps, unemployment office, welfare, food pantries, section 8 housing, free cell phones, etc).

I would respect an ex prostitute with no job and on welfare and food stamps much more. Besides, you wanted to know what Jesus said to prostitutes, so I thought I'd tell you.

It's actually an interesting episode. Many people think you have to turn away from your sins in order to be saved. This occurrence demonstrates just the opposite. This poor woman was saved FIRST then turned from her sins.

There are some hopeless people out here that don't know the same society you know. I understand and I still respect them for doing what they must.

As far as drug dealers, what makes them bad, other than violating the law? One change in legislation would make them entrepreneurs.

Drugs are bad, so is prostitution. I still respect them doing what they feel like they must to live.

Hi Silverwings., I have to say this. The amount of "fake news" I've discovered to be just about everywhere has me on alert to not believe what is reported. Even though it seems to be from a reputable source. My first reaction to something like this is I don't believe it at all. Someone would have to prove it with a whole lot of irrefutable facts and sources. Sounds like major propaganda from those who hate Israel.
