You can answer that for yourself. If I wore open toed, red stiletto shoes, would you think I just wanted to wear them, or that there might be a reason I found women's shoes attractive?
Do they come in your size? lol

I wear size 10 men shoes or size 11 women shoes. Got to tell you. At this size the constant with women shoe manufacturer is they seem to think I only like dress-up shoes that are white, and 2-3 inch fat heels. It's something like wearing a firetruck flashing-light on your feet that says "Notice my unusually large feet." And I used to be 5'11". Now I'm 5'9". I don't really want to be taller than most of the guys in the room. I just don't think they make red stilettos for feet bigger than size 8 men's.

I also think there is a common-sense gene in men that says, "I'm not stupid enough to wear shoes that will cause me to need an operation on me feet ten years from now."

Come on, bro. You have the facial hair, the cigar and the right attitude; go get yourself a gold hoop earring.

I had a gunsmith tell me one time that sailors that had either sailed across the equator, or around the horn of Africa... can't remember which, earned the right to have their ear pierced.... he even told me which ear, but I have forgotten which one. He said the other ear denoted homosexuality...

personally, I'm not into pain enough to make that fashion statement...

Ever accidentally hit your finger on the inside of a stapler without any staples in it? It does hurt, but not that much and not that long. Can't even feel the stud go through. (This is true if you get it done professionally. No idea how it feels done at home.)

I'm a coward when it comes to pain, but it hurt less than a shot (at the doctors office.)

Why would someone want to mutilate an ear?
Why does anyone play golf?

Why does anyone waste three hours of their lives watching football?

Why does anyone eat sushi?

IDK. They like it?

I enjoy watching a good golf tournament or football game. I've never tried sushi. It doesn't sound very good, though.

when i was a kid my parents said i couldn't get my ears pierced so i took a sewing needle and pierced the wrong ear.. didn't realize that was a thing at the time until my friend at school told me, and i quickly took the earring out and left it out.

I've known many men, including my straight married Brother who do or used to wear an earring or two. I never thought it was a big deal.

I think you might be on to something..... perhaps that should be my "old-age-crazy" action. One last crazy thing before shuffling off this mortal coil...

At least I'd go out STYLIN'.... now.... what size loop... a small, conservative, discreet one, or a much larger, gaudy, attention-grabbing one?

And once I finalize all my plans, I'll have to run it by my wife.... I imagine that after laughing hysterically for 10-15 minutes, she'd just say "no".

That's the spirit! :D

I had a cousin who passed a few years ago, but while on this side of Heaven he was the essence of cool. A hard working coal miner and devout family man. At one point his one granddaughter was struggling in school because she simply lacked the desire to be there. So he made a deal with her.

If she earned three A's and three B's for the next report card, she would be rewarded with something of her choice. She thought about it and asked if he would get a pierced earing (at age 65) and he agreed.

She worked hard and earned her good grades the following semester, and he pierced his ear, leaving it pierced for the duration of his life. Sometimes he wore a diamond stud, other times a gold stud. That's not just cool, that's Harley Davidson Rock-n-Roll cool.
