This is what comes to mind when I see these American weapon glorifying threads.

Perhaps America should've just sat idly by and let Hitler take over Europe....and not use our guns and our guts to help you Brits out...but its ok...keep painting all Americans as dumb redneck hicks....(btw I'm not even American , I'm Russian, but lived here long enough to know there's plenty of responsible gun owners here )

I am not in the least bit surprised... Smith and Wesson did the K frame right....

If my eyesight had not deteriorated the way it has, I have no doubt I could be shooting very small groups at 25yds with mine.

Even double action at 7 yards is extremely easy/accurate. I have pics of targets somewhere...

Wow.... I was not aware that was available in 7.62X54.... talk about a "do everything" kind of rifle...

How is the reliability? I had one of the SVT 40's for a short while... reminded me of a high-powered SKS...

If that rifle feeds the rimmed 7.62 reliably, I would be tempted with one... depending on the price, of course. I'll have to googl it...

Yes! That is about as fine a semi auto hipower rifle as can be.
I am sure the russians have figured out how to make it
pure in the AK format.

No offense but i dont get the fascination with guns especially once you give your life to the lord. Seems rather worldly to me. However im all for peoples right to defend themselves.

LOL Not all of us are nuts who own a weapon. LOL Please check this out.( Luke 22:36-38!!) Now take notice of this as well!! ( Luke 22:50-52) Jesus could have stopped him before he did it!! He did not rebuke him, he said no more of this! SO!!! Jesus himself made a weapon!! ( John 2:15) So those who do not have one, be glad there are people like us out there who can help when you need it!! LOL

is it not judgmental to tell one they have a "fascination with guns" rather than the truth of having
a healthy interest in the safest sport there is?

You seem to have fallen prey to the irrational thought of inanimate objects being "evil".
There are all sorts of activities of people here, trains, cars, stuffed bears arranged in cute pictures, cameras,
yet only one activity is misrepresented as an unhealthy "fascination" .

It appears the anti 2nd amendment propaganda has adversely affected several here who should have the discernment
Christ came to bring us if we are truly His.

At least this guy was somewhat respectful in his disagreement.

There is definitely some sort of psychological gap between people who own guns and people who do not.

People who participate in this thread as intended view them as tools for life, liberty, and fun. Those who come in to comment from outside the tribe think of guns as semi-sentient death talismans.

I think it's partially experience and partially a difference of opinion over what goes with 2A culture (patiotism, preparedness, etc).

There was a time in the early history of the nation where citizens were required to own arms and ammunition, and required to bring them with them when assembling for church. To be required to provide for the safety and security of there own house and
the common defense.
I notice people from other countries who are "subjects" and not citizens have difficulty understanding this and attempt to
convert we citizens to "subjects". People like Piers Morgan attempt to bring that dreck to us.

Never said guns were evil nor would categorize guns as "evil" however it is dangerous. I used to be in to guns years ago myself but as ive gotten closer to the lord ive lost interest. I'm also not fond of those who hunt animals for sport to me that is not of God but of the world. Target practice im fine with.
