Dreams require interpretation often the dreamer doesnt know exactly why they dreamed something. In the Bible, in so many instances the dreamer didnt understand what they were dreaming about. But they knew that it was God given and spiritual. So they asked for interpetation

Its a bit like tongues, you dont really know what you are talking about. Tongues require interpetation too. Unfortunately few interprters either I mean that is why its easier to communicate in common langauge the majority knows and to read and write things down instead of speaking.

This makes sense I don't have dreams near as often as I do visions but mine work differently then a sudden full on vision they are like a movie playing out in my minds eye I can describe every detail as if I was there sometimes it feels like I am and I write them in poem form.

My poems are the main way God shows me these things and speaks to me he uses my writer spirit when I feel the itch to write I never know what is going to be written but one I start the words just pour out I have to type very fast to get it out and in the moment it has a certain essence of truth in it it's solid and I have no clue what I am writing or why sometimes afterwards I worry aboput what I wrote as I never want to speak something and it wasn't him that spoke it but these visions of mine often need interpretation lafftur interpreted one that was very detailed and confusing to me and she did so amazingly I had no clue what I had written at the time was so deep

it seems to be how it works with dreams and visions perhaps not knowing why or what we are dreaming is evidence of it being from him
