I had a great aunt ( as in my grandfather's sister) that would take her toothbrush and brush her tongue. gots to have a clean tongue.

They sell tongue scrapers, that's not a joke I have one. You can usually find them in the store with the toothbrushes.

tongue scrapper my dentist gave me. piece of flexible plastic with groves on the edges, I fold the thing and start scrapping.

this is a picture I found on the internet and it is the same one I use.
