The only tattoo I ever considered were the tiny footprints of my still born baby on my back. Little Duncan Meyer born still on 2 March 2011. He never saw the light of day, or took a breath of air, but he's with our Father in Heaven, and his footprints are on my heart.

Ms. Tash: Sounds as if you liked the idea of wearing a tattoo, anyway. Did you ever consider making it a permanent one, maybe in a faith based design, etc.? something that a lot of Christians are doing now. But it need to be the individual's well planned initiative, because it's very personal.

Blessings.

Tash:

Sorry about the loss of your child.

Yes, back is an increasingly popular placement among you ladies I think.

Seems like it's also becoming very commonplace for moms and also grandmas to get the initials/names/dates of birth of their kids/grandkids needled in.

Blessings.

In relation to the title of the thread, 18 is officially the age around here, anyway.

... his footprints are on my heart.
Tash:

Reading other threads, I see you have - quite understandably - mentioned the loss of your child in various places and hope that you will find on these forums various readers who will - from afar at least - be able to offer you prayerful understanding and sympathy. The troubling experience you and your husband have been through must definitely have left a deep mark on you, a metaphorical mark at least.

Okay so this is addressed to the tattooed (those without tattoos obviously are not being asked... :) )

At what age did you obtain your first tattoo?
I have none, and never will, because of what it says in Lev.19:28. I have a personal conviction that He meant that literally, but I will not look down upon one who does not see it that way. HOWEVER, there is a reason why inmates call it "putting on the ugly", and my personal opinion is tattoos on a woman are twice as ugly.
