So lamb is lamb lol and sheep is beef , beef mince, beef steak our bros and sisters call it ' hamburger' different to an actually hamburger you know meat Patty's, lettuce etc . Maori hangi is like a Samoan umu they cook roast veges meat in the ground YouTube should show one they have modern ways of doing it when I grew up and for decades they had more traditional methods but because im mostly Nz European best to ask a NZ Maori i dont want them saying whos this pakeha? (Pakeha Maori word for non Maori person )on here or Nzer who knows what they were talking about I've got vague memories of it cooking it in rocks and using a covering of potato sack o.0?? Very vague and early memories. In the islands Samoa they cook it and cover the food in leaves very old traditional method Maori came from the islands. What ya know? You cooked it few weeks ago - cool I'm surprised, its nice aye? You can put berries on and Google Jamie Olivers version altho I don't think you want the calories lol! Your fluffy sheep comment cracked me up -fluffy kins . we say Auckland has four seasons in a day - the weather is very temperamental , changeable.
Would be cool if you could visit one day or we just met up in a tropical island in Aus/ Australia . Sometimes you have to pay for hangi can be expensive. Hangi at Maori Marae, a marae is like where the Maori community and non Maori community meet in a Maori traditional house . hangi is cheaper or free I think at Marae . we don't get snow in Auckland which is in the upper North Island but I use to live in Christchurch in the South it snows there . to describe snow to you its like something's when its thick and your walking on it it makes a crunching sound esp on wooden decks and like if your not careful if your walking on a bit of land or a mountain hill and the ground level is deeper than you know that can make you sink down / fall down when its deep or snowing heavily. Yah its heaps of fun! If you did comecNZ I think I'd have to come to indonesia to be fair I'd love to try your food even though I can't really take spice still yuum food would be yum! I think jet star airline prices are pretty good so Indonesia maybe. Its winter I'd take you to the mountains;) that's all for now my friend
lamb is lamb.. sheep is beef? eh? headache.. LOL means lamb not to be eat?

roast vege in the ground!!!
thats like korean reality show i watched on tv!! (yeah, i'm a fan of reality show) lol.. but its only potatoes.. never knew about others vege and meat.. this is totally interesting!!
pakeha!! so! what is maori people main language? English? They sounds really cool! they even have traditional house as well!
I always excited to learn others culture  lol

I google Jamie Oliver's recipe.. She used yoghurt!! i never thought about that!! its sound perfect with sweetness from meringue! i only use whipped cream so my pavlova taste all sweet :p i topping it with orange, kiwi (yeah kiwi! lol), and grape

If i ever go there, i wont come in the winter!! definitely a NO! lol
and! if you ever visit here! you'll have to try gado gado! its Indonesian salad! vegetables with peanut sauce! healthy! lol

Hmm thats it i think? lol
have a good day! ;)

America

Russia:

1. What does the average Russian think of America as a country?
2. What does the average Russian think of Americans as a people?
3. Is Pravda considered representative of how most Russians view world events?
4. What would you like the world (primarily Americans in this case) to know about your country?

That's it. I kind of view you guys as frenemies. We have our differences and geopolitical objectives, but tend to respect each other as a people for different reasons.

Russia

Australia:
1. Are kangaroos friendly?
2. Which city is best to visit (Sydney, Melbourne or Perth?)
3. What is the best beach?
4. What is a vegemite sandwich?
5. Do aussies like Americans?
6. Do they like Russians?
7. Do you guys really say g'day , or is that just a made up thing?
8. Do you actually hate fosters lager, but push it to the rest of the world as a good beer?
9. Why is Canberra your capital, nobody ever heard of it?

1. Yes, it's good.
2. They're everywhere. Chain diners. Non-chain diners. I've never been to a city without a diner.
3. Ah, the transatlantic accent. Some of it was completely made-up. Some movie stars and the like genuinely developed it from all the travelling they did. Some started talking that way at a young age because they thought it was cool.

It's not unlike the broadcaster accent we have now. I've gotta say I prefer the transatlantic.

Ok state your country/ nation you're from first and then the country you want to ask about. anyone can answer it doesn't have to be the person asking the question. And with Israel you dont have to be jewish someone like Piff is a bit knowledgeable about Israel

You can ask about Israel too unfortunately I don't know much about it or some Israelis , or my Jewish brothers and sisters tho their rare here can help you out.

1)Have you ever tasted grape flavoured Smucker's?
2) are diners in many Cities? Or are they considered becoming a thing of the past?
3) in your personal opinion in the say 1920s - 1950sU.S radio broadcasters had a faux British accent?
4) running out of questions umm that's all... Haha

Actually, the gay accent is a lot like the transatlantic accent. More and more people are talking that way, unfortunately. But it has no discernible beginning or end to it. You can't trace the gay accent back to a village in Northampton, for example.

A lot of people, even non-gays, are picking it up because that's the way the cool kids talk.

1) I don't care for grape jelly of any brand and prefer strawberry preserves
2) Yes, there are diners in every city, and in some small towns. We don't always CALL them 'diners'. I live in the South, and we don't generally call them 'diner' unless 'diner' is part of the name. Generally, we call them fast food joints, or greasy spoons, or most popular in my town, a hamburger joint.
3) It was the transatlantic accent, that Desdichado already explained. He beat me to it. :(
4) That's alright, post them in your thread later if you think of any. :)

Since I am the rare Southeast Asian here, I wanna know about the country of about 90% of everyone here; the U.S.

1. Do most people really like Trump or really despise him nowadays?

2. What is your opinion on Singapore? Have you visited the country before?

3. Is the average American diet as bad as people make it out to be?

4. Is your role model (if you even have one) American?
1. I think most people are not sure what to think about Trump as a person.

2. My opinion of Singapore is that it is very clean, there is a lot of luxury shopping there, and it is crowded. It seems exciting, and a place to go if you love to shop. I have never been.

3. Yes, it is. It is really pitiful. We think we are "eating healthy" if we eat something that is lowfat, never mind that it might be loaded with sugar.

4. I don't think I have a role model. This scares me. Perhaps I should go find one.

USA.
Have there been any big changes that have made a difference in any way since you have a new leader, or do things just carry on the same? I dont mean what the news reports. I mean at actual ground level.
Before the election, when we were under obama the latinos were agitated to a high level. It strained a few relationships of mine to a point where we were actually avoiding each other. Now that has all but vanished.

Again I dont know much about Israel but I would say the last question yes they do based on them living in the same place and you know for example at a Messianic and Christian worship event in Jerusalem/ they had arabic translation and yes thats a united Christian example but I imagine they would both would have friends of Jewish/ Arab friends although Im not sure if 'most' of them do. so for example like you have the Japanese and chinese who come to western countries such as ours and while they had the past of the world wars they are in the same nation they have to live and mix together I wouldnt see why not.

I thought you were in Israel, so surprised to find out you are in New Zealand.

Questions for a New Zealander
(1) Is there a real rivalry between Kiwis and Aussies?
(2) Have you ever sheared sheep?
(3) Did any of Peter Jackson's hobbit houses stay in tact for people to visit?
(4) Have you experienced any very strong earthquakes?

3) theres one I knlow of in Matavegas haha the tourist town is called Matamata you drive out a bit from there and you bang into the hobbit stuff

Thanks for answering my questions! Especially about farming. It does make sense that most of the population lives in cities and not on farms. I suppose that is the way of every country. :)
