My lap top just froze for 10 minutes. All I wanted to do was to copy and paste a picture of a box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese to the 'What's Cooking?' thread. I was getting bing (ed) off...

Had to look that up. Never had the worry what with living in Canada. My uncle on the other hand must have had the worry living on the other side of the 49th parallel a few mikes away for he had underground shelter next to his barn.

In case you're using Google or Yahoo! to get here, you don't need to use any search engine to get to CC. You can go directly to a website and cut the middleman (Google, Yahoo!, whatever) out of it by typing in, at the top of your web browser: christianchat.com

​uhh, forgive my stupidity, but typing that into the top of my browser requires a search engine to be used..lol.. :)

You're an Opera user, right? Opera defaults to using a search engine (Google, if I remember correctly) if you don't type in a full website address. E.g, typing 'christian chat' or even 'christianchat' will give you search results. Typing in 'christianchat.com' should bring you directly to the site.

It doesn't make a huge difference whether you go through a search engine to get to a site or not, though. :)
