I'm not down with autographs because I deem it idolatry,

but...

A good friend of mine was working construction on Bon Jovi's house. One of his coworkers saw Bon Jovi and told him his wife was a big fan and asked for an autograph for his wife. Bon Jovi was gracious and signed something. The next day the construction worker was informed he was fired because Bon Jovi complained. Thoughts?

On a side note, years ago I went to a pub in Bon Jovi's hometown and the drummer of his band walked in. He looked at me, I gave a nod and thanked him for rocking out. He thanked me and we drank our beers like mature adults.

His new album intrigues me. Is he a true Christian? What about his restaurant? Does he really give free meals to the homeless?

I don't like Bon Jovi, I always thought he was overrated and never liked any of his songs but that's just me.....his political activism is lame as he should stick to music but loves democrats.....

Sounds like he treats his fans like dirt. :( Also two faced. Why would he act gracious one moment and then turn around and complain? Sirk would say Jovi needs to work on his boundaries and I would agree :D

Maybe it wasn't Bon Jovi, the foreman could try to make an example of somebody for disturbing a client... we just don't know the full story until we hear both sides :)

As for Bon Jovi, not a big fan........

That occurred to me also, that it could have been a co-worker or the
foreman who really complained :( But that is not what we were told

Hard to imagine he would complain about someone wanting an autograph unless maybe the way it was requested or something or maybe he made an off-color remark. I mean the guy probably gets asked for autographs everywhere he goes. But then again maybe he thought it just wasn't professional since the guy is working on his house (which I can kind of understand)... I would have waited until the job was done before asking him..

Or the boss used it as an excuse to fire the coworker. We don't actually know if Bon Jovi was ever involved.

You're assuming that the guy's boss is telling the truth. Maybe the boss is just a royal jerk and jealous that his employee met Bon Jovi and he didn't..

I know several people that either know or have met Bon Jovi. This is quintessential behavior on his part. In his defense, can't grown ups just shake hands and thank one another for their work and existence?

who is Bon Jovi?
Bon Jovi is an American rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey. Formed in 1983, Bon Jovi consists of lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi (born John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.), pianist and keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, lead guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald. The band's lineup has remained mostly static during its history, with the only exceptions being the 1994 dismissal of bass player Alec John Such, who was unofficially replaced by Hugh McDonald, and the departure of longtime guitarist and co-songwriter Richie Sambora in 2013. Phil X and McDonald would later both become official members in 2016. In 1986, Bon Jovi achieved widespread global recognition with their third album, Slippery When Wet.

After touring and recording non-stop during the late 1980s, the band went on hiatus following the
New Jersey Tour in 1990, during which time Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora both released successful solo albums. In 1992, the band returned with the album Keep the Faith. Their 2000 single "It's My Life", which followed a second hiatus, successfully introduced the band to a younger audience. Bon Jovi have been known to use different styles in their music, which has included country for their 2007 album Lost Highway. On March 12, 2013, Bon Jovi released their 12th studio album, What About Now.
Thus far, Bon Jovi has released 13 studio albums, plus two compilations and two live albums. The band has sold more than 130 million records worldwide and performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans. Bon Jovi was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006. The band was also honored with the Award of Merit at the American Music Awards in 2004, and as songwriters and collaborators, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora were inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009. {from wiki}

He is still the most good looking rockstar IMO. And he is not divorced? It's surprising and uncommon for a celebrity.
