But their children... and their children's children... will continue what they have started.

No, wait, never mind. There's already a 'longest thread ever' in the making. And it had something to do with winning.
That one is only 27k....Speak Your Mind is in the 60k range....

Mulching is a process of inbred fertilization which employs certain decomposed organic materials -- including, but not limited to animal sediment -- to blanket an area in which vegetation is desired. The procedure enriches the soil for stimulated plant development while, at the same time, preventing erosion and decreasing the evaporation of moisture from the ground.

And don't eat it. It will not taste good.

I'm going to take this and make it into a word bubble on a t-shirt for me. I just did decomposition with my students recently:

Just put the finishing touches on my lesson plan for sustainability.
i'll use it as a resource for next time. Thanks!

I'm going to take this and make it into a word bubble on a t-shirt for me. I just did decomposition with my students recently:

i'm an avid fan of an old comic-book series called Groo.

the writers committed to filling one or two pages with commentary every issue, and it was a running gag for years and years in that in order to fill space, they constantly mentioned mulching (Mulching is a process of inbred fertilization which employs certain decomposed organic materials -- including, but not limited to animal sediment -- to blanket an area in which vegetation is desired. The procedure enriches the soil for stimulated plant development while, at the same time, preventing erosion and decreasing the evaporation of moisture from the ground), and always gave this definition, because it took up a whole paragraph.

sometimes they would give the definition several times in one issue if they didn't have that much else to say, because the publishers held them to so many cubic inches of text that had to be filled in.

;)

Oh, oh my goodness! I could develop them into many languages and distribute them among the students! This would further develop their literacy skills. At our school we learn French and Japanese. Are you sure you weren't at some point a primary school teacher? Thanks for all these great ideas. Here's a gold star for your work:
