I have one thing to say.

God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy and there is nothing that you or me or anyone can do about it. His ways are not our ways and they are past finding out. If the clay can not say to the potter, make me this way and not that way, then the potter can decide what He wants to do with the clay. God is perfect in justice and if His justice includes mercy then that mercy was perfect justice.

Beyond a "reasonable doubt". The jurors were honest in saying they didn't feel that was made.

The Casey Anthony Case was a test case not just for the justice system and the people of our country, but also a test case for the believer's heart in terms of mercy and judgment.

Did you as a believer have joy in your heart when this young woman was found not guilty of being responsible for the death of her child or were you resentful an appalled at the verdict? Where you joyous that God gave this young woman her freedom through a jury of her peers or do you think this jury made a huge mistake in letting her go free of capital murder?

I have no doubt that this young child is present with the Lord, happy and full of joy even as we speak and reflect on this case that has effected so many lives, even in our own families. I looked at it this way... God had a plan to test the hearts of the people of our great country that crosses all classes and all ethnic groups, all professions, genders, age and family types and reaches around the world with this case of a mother being charged with the death of her child. Have you ever seen such an outcry from the citizens of the people that make up our present society?

The hatred and disdain that so many have showed over the last three years against this family, against those that were defending her and even now when the verdict was turned against them. Do you think that God had His hand in this trial and pulled some of the heart strings of the jurors in this case? I do, and God is revealing hearts all over the place while they try to figure out what went wrong. There are so few people that have come out in favour of this verdict for fear that they would be ostracized or threatened in some manner.

I wonder how believers, especially mothers that have children, who have been given mercy and grace from God for their wicked sin, are filled with that same mercy toward this young woman and can discern through the grace of God that she has been spared the death penalty and been an opportunity by God to believe the gospel of Christ and be forgiven and cleansed from all her sin, whatever that might be.

I can't believe they didn't find her guilty of at least child neglect...I mean, she waited 31 days to report her child missing. What kind of parent would wait that long to report such a young child missing-- completely ridiculous!

The most sickening things about this whole thing are: 1: this was an innocent baby! 2:the father hid the body(which they proved) 3:they found duct tape in the trunk of the mother's car, with the child's hair on it which is clear evidence. 4:the family themselves even said she DID do it. 5:money talked in this case as it does many cases, and the WORST of all is the fact the mother is going to sell the story, and gain profits off her own child's death, whom she clearly murdered herself! How can they find her innocent, when they had so much evidence against her ugh! the love of money is the root of all evil, and these people were clearly lovers of money and didn't bring justice for that poor baby. RIP precious little baby girl, she's an angel in heaven!

Firstly, people don't become angles. Secondly, how do you know that she hadn't prayed for mercy. How do you know that she hadn't just been show mercy? Jesus said that whoever has been forgiven much, the same loves much. I didn't think about this at first, honestly, but someone with greater love in them said it, and I immediately agreed. This is a right way to approach anyone.

Many people put murder up as the unpardonable sin, and though this makes the Lord angry, and it is a 1000 times harder to fight the evil spirits that try to condemn the person after it, the mercy of the Lord is greater.

Yet, if the lady was forgiven, she would know not to do such a thing as sell the story. But one thing is sure, no one who does evil will escape judgement, as there is one who judges all things. So justice is served, even though men have no idea what justice is all about.

As believers are we to ignore this case that has captured the entire imagination of so many, especially families? Should the accused have been convicted for the death of her child or are we afraid to say what we really think? Do we accept the outcome of the (12) jurors that gave their verdict or should we have our own opinion and think what we want? Do we know the mind of Christ on this matter or are we confused and despondent in an open forum but bold in the privacy of our family and friends?

Do we speak freely to them because they feel as we do about the injustice that so many have been persuaded? The world seems to be more open about this matter from their viewpoint then we are from God's viewpoint. Are we afraid that we might identify with the world's assessment of this trial and be stereotyped or should we seek out the mind of Christ through the word and come to God's conclusions on the matter no matter what others might say.

I challenge you to read and study (Deut 19). See what God gives you on this an what he gave Moses and the people of Israel. You will have to do some in depth study on the background of this chapter and then how to apply the understand you get concerning instructions in righteousness according to (2Tim 3:16). When you have that down, then go to (1Tim 5:19,20) and see if you understand how that is to be applied to that passage.

BTW - Are we to presume against another that has been set free and vindicated through a jury of their peers? Do we indict a (12) member jury, that was selected by both sides, as being unduly influenced by a wrong understanding of reasonable doubt, just because we do not agree with the outcome? In the eyes of God, presumption is a great transgression and David prayed to the Lord to keep him from this form of sin (Ps 19:13).

this response and you aren't even worth acknowledging. I don't care if she was or wasn't shown mercy however, the fact of the matter is she IS GUILTY and God's word says MURDERERS SHALL NOT inherit the kingdom of God. Of all people, you'd think you would understand that....considering how you personally go around judging, condemning, etc. others and calling out what you THINK they do or don't do in life. That's all I have to say to you,I honestly couldn't give a care less about what you say. So be on your little merry way.

And it was also written that neither liars nor thieves will. And have you ever lied or stolen? If so you are just as guilty and will not enter in. It is because of the mercy of God that any of us is saved. And this is an example if any just how that mercy works. Red was correct in how he saw it, as some others are. It is his right to show mercy, maybe she will seek the Lord more now. Maybe.

May Jesus bless you.

eh the american justice system did what it does. The 12 jurors didnt think there was enough to convict her, so be it. thats how things work in this country you dont like it tough. perhaps you would prefer to go live in a civil law system instead of a common law one. but i havent lost any sleep over this its sad but kids die everyday, people like nancy grace should be blamed for turning this into the entertainment/media circus it became. and whether she is really guilty or not, it wont keep me up tonight either.

Why don't you worry about yourself hmm? I'm sure you've done something sinful,in fact I KNOW you have. We all have. However,God will judge her for this. She won't get away scott free forever. Even if He was showing her mercy, which I very highly doubt was the case due to how you can't murder someone, especially an innocent child of God's and get away with it.Either way, when found you're guilty, and they have proof, they shouldn't let you go. She did the crime, she should do the time. Simple as that. You're a truly a mystery you know? I mean you've gone from your own self righteous judgments you passed on others before, condemning them, telling EVERYONE they're going to hell, etc. to defending a clearly guilty woman of MURDER! You're obviously not in your right mind,or suffer from being bi-polar disorder or something. *sigh* anyhow,I'm just not going to waste time on your silly little attempts to argue, you tend to ALWAYS pick me out of a crowd and attack with disagreements on EVERYTHING....so stick with your thoughts which are clearly wrong,.and I'll stick with the facts which have proven themselves to be true.

God will have mercy on whomever he chooses. And if he has had mercy on her, no one, not you, not governments not nations, can condemn her. God will have mercy on anyone, even murderers, as he has with all liars and thieves, because without it no one could be saved, yet...

May Jesus bless you.
