I start by reflecting on potent memories of shared laughter with my loves. I move towards deeper thoughts, as I so often do. I know that though my life and my being are far from perfect, the perfect One who made me resides within. How cool is that...VERY!!! I drift to others...people and animals everywhere in need, some so much; it brings me to awe in how they carry on. I look at their strength, and give God all the glory. People who give and do so much from a selfless heart. Oh how they also inspire me. Again, I know every good thing is His. Nature wraps me in its sanctuary, as I believe God intended. However, it isn't the creation that comforts and soothes, it is the One who gave it life. Connection with others feeds my soul, sharing and caring, but none like communion with my Lord. His constant state is so reassuring, so sturdy and strong. He gives mercy, security, purpose and identity. Yes, He is beyond healing, but they are not the blessings I find most appealing. I love so very much how He gives all of Himself to all willing to receive Him fully. He is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory.

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
