Color Day

I have been told that December 12, 2012 is Christian Color Day and everyone is suppose to wear the color Violet because it stands for Justice, Judgement and Royalty. I htink this is a good idea. Even non-Christians can lead good, and sometimes better lifes than Christians and are often confused with Christians. On December 12 we will be able to determine who the Christians are.

The date is 12 12 12. The number 12 is so important to God and it only comes around once every 100 years - so I will be wearing violet on that day and I hope to reconize each of you by your color.

I can give you many reasons why the number 12 is important to God - but two quick ones -- 12 tribes of Israel and 12 diciples.

and why is violet more important to JC than any other color? Violet is also the color used to represent some not
so Christian people that I wont mention.

Several numbers are used in the Bible, from 0 to infinity. 12 is no more important than 111-222-333-444-555- or 666.

I repeat, the mayan beliefs are PAGAN. Why do you feel the need to add pagan beliefs for Christians?

Do you believe the world will come to an end on 12 12 12 because the mayans predicted it?

If that happened, and I dont believe it will, it won't be because the Mayan predicted it.

Linsey I didn't start this, I only threw out something I had read on another site. However, I agree with it in every way. If the December 12, 2012 date is a pagan date - then I am unaware of it. I am in no way hung up on numbers and have never thought much about them, even though in reading the Bible God put a lot of importance on numbers. You would have to talk to someone that has a lot more theology than I do for explaination on what they mean - if they mean anything at all. I did verify that the color violet did mean Justice, Judgement and Royality.

I personally pray that on December 12 of this year I will see all my co-workers and even people walking down the street wearing violet on their person in someway. Millions of people will wear green on St. Patrichs Day and think nothing of it, but if a million wore violet on the same day everyone would think something about it. I think our nation need to show unity in our belief in God more than unity in politics. I am sorry this thread offended you.

The mayan prophecy thing is 12/21/12 anyways, so that point is completely moot now...lol and if they were so good with prophecy why didnt the predict the spanish invading and destroying their civilization.

About the purple thing well personally if you need someone to wear a certain colorto identify them, then i would hazard a guess that they arent living their life in the right way to start with.
