Let's imagine what would happen if you came in here & told us the judgment were happening in 24 hours. I'd think we'd see this:

Epecially if you posted it in the BDF. They'd be on you like white on rice!

A much scarier scenario, for me at least, would be if I assured everyone that it would not happen tomorrow, and then it did happen tomorrow.

I believe it is imminent, ie. that there is nothing to preempt or preclude it at this point in time.

I am referring to the end of this present age as we know it; for us it would be the rapture.

What Rapture? I have six or so Bible translations and none of them contain a rapture of the saints. There's something a little similar, although it's the unbelievers that are there one minute and gone the next.

Once the Wailing Wall is defiled and the daily prayers are stopped, ask me then. I can nail it down to within a few weeks.

if it means anything to anyone within my first year of being saved when I believed in the pretrib rapture with full confidence even then I had dreams that came to pass and I recall a dream in which I felt inside me a sense of knowing that it's finally time to go home I remember how utter excited I was I was so happy and so joyful and I felt a sense of knowing in my stomach area which I assume was the holy spirit and I went online to cc to see if anyone else was feeling this same thing and many were.

Now as of now my hope in the rapture has been utterly destroyed by the damage false prophets did to me in my earlier years as a Christian but if in fact this dream was prophetic then I guess he will let his own know when the time is actually here

But you will be reunited with them when the end comes. Maybe you should take in an Arizona Cardinal football game.

Go John the Baptist on my non-Christian friends.
Hang out with family and friends in Christian fellowship and worship.
Read any of the good books I've been waiting to read (or to finish).
Visit fascinating but dangerous countries like much of the Middle East and Turkey and western Europe.

That would be cool also I would love to go to Italy and Jerusalem and
Scotland and wow I would go all over heck I would steal Donald Trumps plane and cruise lol jk

At this time I might not they are on the non believer side of God right now my youngest believes in God from what she says. but my oldest daughter is not a believer in God she says a higher Power but not God so i am a bit nervous for their salvation but I keep trying to bring them back to God every chance I can but we can maybe bring a portable t.v. with us and watch some Law and Order on the way out lol

I think the Lord has a way of convincing everybody, in the end, to take the right path. I like Law and Order but I'd rather see The Closer.

Many threads are started from people who claim to know the date the world
will end, the date Jesus will return, the dates of the trumpets sounding, and various
other biblical dates.

It got me thinking, if you really knew the date Jesus would return without a shadow of a
doubt, what would you do with that information.

I think I would tell all my family and friends and turn into a female version
of John the Baptist, (repent for the kingdom of God is at hand etc), followed by buying the
biggest cheese cake I could find and the biggest bar of chocolate, then lock myself away
somewhere and pray. Sorry locusts and honey don't have quite the same attraction
for me.
As a Christian this would never happen.. Because the Bible declares no one will know the day or the hour.. So if i thought i know the day and the hour i would automatically know my thinking was wrong and that i did not know the day or the hour.. :D

I did. I watched my Patriots dominate with a back up QB:D.
Part of the Cardinals' strategy is to lull the league into a false sense of security. After everyone is convinced the Cardinals are no good, they'll put together a winning streak that will bring them a super bowl championship.

Good question. I think one major problem with telling us the day of return would be the enemy would also then know which would upset everything in an insane kinda way.

Oh, if I knew I'd create some awesome threads on CC for sure...
The boards would be full of REPENT threads followed by scornful posts,
nothing new there then.

I'd spend a few days in Nome, Alaska, eating bacon and hash browns, with a lot of fresh-squeezed orange juice. (I've always wanted to go to Nome.)
I suppose there are certain benefits in going somewhere very cold, just in case you
end up somewhere very hot for eternity. :)

I have often thought great I would love to escape this awful world to live with love Himself in
eternity. I have very little which holds me to this world. I just hope God takes my aunt before
me as she wouldn't have anyone to look after her.
