I would put a "disagree" x on it but my brother 2nd Tim gets offende
That's an odd thing to say. I wear those Red X's proudly. You have this backward. Those who issue the Red X are the ones who are offended.

Can't even make this stuff up.

Tim- Again, you are focused on you own feelings and not on our sister.

Karyn- do you sleep well?
Melatonin has been a blessing for many.
best wishes

That doesn't resonate as His truth. I would put a "disagree" x on it but my brother 2nd Tim gets offended, but truly this doesn't line up with scripture, it is always an attack from the enemy who wishes to steal our peace, health, prosperity, etc.
It sounds like a long, long, attack, and we know there is nothing He will not heal. Positive affirmations have been a great help for many.
Keeping a picture on Christ in the picture frame of my mind has been a great blessing in my walk with Him.
Do you have TV? I cut the cord and really am thankful.
bless you Karyn
I think you and Tim can both be right. The enemy can use other people to get to us. The TV really distracts me, so i don't know hunk it would be a good idea to cut it. I do try to look for encouraging things. It's hard to find things that aren't rated R or MA, but I won't watch those at all.

I actually do sleep ok. I didn't sleep for a couple of nights at the beginning of this deep despair i was in, but since then I've been ok in that regard.

I've been encouraged by the psalms in the past in how he'll be very depressed, but he'll always start with thanking God for getting him through in the past and end with thanking God for how He'll get him through this time, too.
There's your antidote to depression. Just stay focused on the Psalms and memorize as many as possible, then bring them to mind. We also do not know the relationship between depression and oppression by the Enemy. They could well be one and the same. So praising God will kill depression.

"Psalm 103
Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow

There are no prayer requests in this psalm of David, only words of praise. God’s people have so much to praise Him for. We need to read this psalm often so we will remember to praise God always for who He is and what He does for us.

The heart of worship can be described as our entire being gratefully praising God for all He is and all He does. To worship God is to bless the One who blesses us. Praising God is both a high privilege and a compelling responsibility.

A reminder to praise God (vs. 1-2) For emphasis David repeated his personal call to praise the Lord (Yahweh, I AM). A. Bless His holy name – David’s praise was personal (O my soul) and passionate (all that is within me). This would include his heart, soul, and mind (Mt. 22:36-37). We bless or praise God for who He is. His name represents His being and character. We should bless the One who richly blesses us (Eph. 1:3).

B. Remember all His benefits – We think of the song, “Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.” We should take time to consider every blessing the Lord provides for us. These opening verses introduce the main section of the psalm which identifies some of God’s magnificent blessings."

@shittim - You've given me the "boring" emoji. I am asking you for the final time to stop harassing me. If you do this one more time, I will be obligated to place on the blocklist. I tell you this so that you will understand why it is that I will not be responding you in the future.

I'm doing okay so far, thanks. Sometimes i wonder if you and 2nd Tim are the same person.
Nope. My name is David. 2nd Timothy Group is the name of a Christian Non-Profit organization that I've been trying to develop.

Good to hear sister, keep focused on our Lord and Savior, there is nothing He cannot heal or restore.
Bless you in Jesus name.
