If it can't be eaten it is a waste of garden space:giggle::giggle::giggle:

Yes...
Roses was a trite thing for years. "Old man and his rose garden " had been a common thing for decades about 40-50 years ago. Coffee grounds, bandanna peels and Epsom salts make them grow great.

You can make rose jelly too.

Don't forget growing herbs too.

Also orchids, lily's, tulips, and any sort of exotic flower. Creating your own unique species was also a thing for a long time....grafting, crossbreeding intentionally and etc....

Common ones? meh...leave those for the internet geniuses who think they know something special.

Gardening is hard work to begin with...successful exotic flower gardens are even more so. And a gift of exotic flowers is a special treat....especially when you grew and cultivated them yourself.

Men grow all kinds of vegetables, But do grow flower Gardens ?

Yes, especially a man who wants to woo his woman. He doesn't have to give her flower bouquets if he can give her a flower garden.

Flower gardens are associated more with beauty and romance. Women have always liked colorful and shiny things since "caveman"/hunter-gatherer times (such as flowers and shiny rocks).

Clearly you have no wife, nor had a mother who loved her flower garden(s). :)
I have flowers...... they are called dandelions and I let them mature and go to seed before i mow and spread them, same way with the clover, and a couple patches of purple violets that I allow to prosper. The morning glories pretty much take care of themselves.

Don't be such a rosist. Rose leaves matter.

Back in Bama, we had fields of clover in different colors. White, red and blue. When in full bloom, they were very beautiful...........

Dandelions are excellent greens.
Every part is edible and some consider it a super food for it's nutritional content. The root goes deep and draws up extra minerals.
