I am looking forward to my moment of death, it will be the moment of true lasting happiness the like of which this earth can never provide. Of course I trust in the will of God as to when that shall be, but I will not be sorry to leave this world because I know it is and always always was, but temporary.
As a Believer, I too look forward to leaving this world behind and be with Jesus forever. However, I pray that the Lord will honor my heart-felt request that he take both myself and my paralyzed son, who is also a Believer, at the same time. I couldn't be happy in heaven knowing that I've left him behind to fend for himself as there is no one on the planet who is able to care for him as I do. It would be nice if we could just be raptured at the same time. But, if this doesn't happen and I die before him, I trust that the Lord will ensure that he receive the care he will need during these difficult times.

This is what I presume non- believer's do but Christians do not. Death to an atheist must be a full stop, nothing at all afterwards. Death as meaningless, therefore life the same? Like a machine once switched on then off. A bleak view indeed.

Jesus Christ transformed the point of death into the point of life. This I only realised as I became Christian. This shift in perspective happens.

If you are an atheist do you fear death , are you neutral about it or do you for some reason welcome it?

I am struggling with this myself and have asked God to help me with my faith that the life after this is quite real and much better. Right now, my earthly life is my immediate concern, and I am dealing with too much concern for it. I am unhappy in it, with a few simple dreams being denied, and that is beating me down. I only hope that this treatment from God does not extent into eternity.

It is written that we will sometimes, even often, feel we are strangers in a strange land,. This is natrual for all who believe for we await the true Kingdom which is eternal. Un til then we will oft times feel we simply do not belong here in this age.
Come the Kingdom there will b our true existence, that is our eternal one. It iwll be full of peace and joy.
Fix your faith upon this and all will be well. May you be totally and overflowingly blessed, in Jesus Yeshua, amen.

Hebrews 13:14~ This world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain
