Anyone else a Dr. Who fan? If so do you like the new companion so far? I like her and I think it's going to an interesting connection to the Doctor. And I just love Matt Smith.

I'm a big fan of Doctor Who and have been ever since the late 80's when Dad introduced me to the show. My favourite doctors are Tom Baker and David Tennant but Matt Smith is also pretty good. My favourite companions (that I can remember) are Sarah-Jane, Rose, Donna and Amy/Rory.

Im just beyond glad they got rid of Amy and Rory, They spent so much time with them. They both became predictable... And Dr. Who shouldn't be predictable. But souffle girl she seems very witty. Something that imo Amy&Rory were lacking.

I don't understand the Rory/Amy hate, I thought they were great but Clara is proving to be very interesting.

I used to love Rory and Amy but, they became to familiar. For me personally the best thing about Dr. Who is that it is unpredictable. That your always trying to think 5 steps ahead when your inevitably 10 steps behind (my experience). That's why I think the new companion is a smart move... Get us to wonder again... But I personally think we will see Amy again. She was to tied to the Dr. to be never seen again. And that message... Seemed like River wrote it to me.

Hey Tintin, I'm a little older. Apparently I was in my highchair in the late 1970s loving Doctor Who. ROFLMAO! Ol Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker!

I liked. Amy/Rorry but I agree it was time for a change. I liked Donna and Rose too. I have been enjoying the Dr revisited ON BBC American. It's. Neat to see the show when it started.

What monster/alien/creature/nemesis do you want to see again/next.

I liked the angel statues. That was so freaky and creative to take those every day objects and turn them into monsters. I am curious about the dollocks too. When he first met Clara as a dollock and she erased their memories of the doctor. So my question is are they still going to be a problem ?

It's too soon for me to have an opinion about Clara. Of course, I also missed most of the episodes that first introduced her, like the Christmas Special. I'd like for there to be some kind of deep plot behind her character.

The Doctor's monologue in "The Rings of Akhaten" is probably the best one he's given since the events around the Pandorica.

My favorite companion was probably Martha. Intelligent and capable of handling herself. Probably the one companion of the reboot who didn't strike me as utterly dependent on the Doctor for everything.

I didnt mind amy and rory at all. They were both better than donna. The new one seems alright but something is going to be off about her i guarantee it.

I saw a picture on the Internet theorizing that Clara is the child of Rose and the 10th Doctor.

Donna annoyed the crap out of me in her introductory Bride episode but she quickly grew on me. I believe Daleks have been overdone, as have the Weeping Angels. I don't want the Vashta Nerada to return (it would minimise their impact) but they were awesome villains. Maybe it's time for a new species of villain?

Mate, this is an American website. That word is a swear to them:

I think Donna killed the show for my wife. She hasn't watched it since. :(

It's a swear word? Really? I didn't know that. Crazy cultural differences. Sorry, Americans! :( Donna's dad was amazing (I believe he was also one of the companions in the Classic Doctor Who, can't remember which Who).

We used to watch "Dr. Who" on PBS here in NY in the 1990s We liked Tom Baker. It was really a surprise to see Tom Baker in the BBC version of C.S. Lewis's "The Lion The Witch and The Wordrobe" series. He played - I think in the "Prince Caspian" movie as a MARSHWIGGLE. He did a GREAT job. I would love to get the BBC series. (only had the over the house tv / radio antena) :)
