Many of us have experienced dreams. Some say they dream a lot,
others say, they don't dream. It is said people do dream, they just
don't recall them.

Curious about any experience one might have had, be it past, present,
or about the future. It might be a prophetic dream you have to share,
or just a dream that has meaning which pertains to your real life.

God also speaks to us through dreams. His Word speaks of dreams
and visions. Perhaps you have had a prophetic vision through a dream.

Please be serious and with hold sarcastic comments about what is shared.

Thanks and God bless ~

To start off topic, I will share a personal dream about my husband
driving me in a black type hearse/ station wagon.

I can still recall the smell of flowers in the vacant vehicle. My husband
was driving, I was lying in the back on the floor, but not is a casket.
When I awoke I prayed and asked the Lord what it all meant.

This is at the time my husband retired. He had been working away for
17 years and home only on week ends. I would go to his place of work
and stay with him in his rented home for two or three days.

When I was not with him, I was taking care of our home here through
the week. The painting, cleaning, lawn care, etc. On week ends he did
the heavy duty things such as maintenance etc.

I more or less had my own taste in decorating our home inside. I was
a busy person and liked to try various style of decorating.
To shorten this I will tell you after he retired, I was ill and he was beginning
to have to do things inside our home that I had always done. He finally had
to tell me, "Look, if I have to move all this to dust, something has to go."
I cried. I mean I cried for days. I had memories all over the place. Photos,
knick knacks, pictures. I knew he needed to clear out what meant so much
to me, and I felt he was taking away all that I held dear to my heart. I am
sentimental, can you tell ?

That all being said, God showed me this dream meant I was like a dead
person, and my husband was driving me around, actually taking over my life.
It took a couple of years for me to adjust to his coming home and taking
over. I recall God saying to me, " He lives here too." I was able to adjust,
now I understand and I know for a fact, for me, my dreams that are so vivid
have meaning.

Hoping this helps someone else get a start sharing. If not, I have lots more
to share on this topic, DREAMS. ~

I have a dream everyday that someday the church will have a revival once more before the final end comes. Before or during the tribulation and pain that will start to magnify to its highest. Where there is persecution, there is great growth. :)

Had an awesome vision of the multitude around the throne, a guest speaker was at our church, preaching about silence in heaven for 30 minutes. I then saw a throne, Jesus in the middle, his arms stretched out, he was turning slowly and his eyes
where so beautiful. His arms stretched out and looking at everyone with a beautiful smile, no one was saying anything. You
knew what they were thinking though, some where like you chose me, or i can't believe i made it. It was pure awe

I recall a dream I had years ago where our Church was meeting in
a school auditorium. Seriously because it was on a Sunday night and
our congregation and visitors were many.

In my dream I saw everyone fall out under the spirit at one time.
I had never experienced this or never saw it before in real life.

Few years later I was watching TBN, Benny Hinn, and to my amazement
I saw that happen in one of his crusades that was televised.

Never mind who it was, that is irrelevant . What is relevant is the
fact I did dream of something spiritually that occurred before it actually
happened.

So I agree with you about the Church and the Lord having one last
move before Christ returns.

Have you had any night dreams Bryan that were spiritual or revealing
to you about your life ? Or an event that happened later ?

Just curious.

>>>Wow, that was awesome. There is a feeling you just can't wait to experience, right?
And doesn't it make you feel like saying... "Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus ? " Bless you~

My dreams are often symbolic. Does anyone have a particular warning
symbol you dream of and know you better start praying for protection ?

It sort of looks like this topic is going no where. I am surprised really.
Dreams are so common and I can't be only one who has had them. I don't
want to keep sharing mine. I feel like I am on a psychiatrist sofa analyzing
my own dreams and sharing with people.

One specific dream I dreamed over and over was the fear of my purse
being stolen. I would dream it was stolen so many times for few years.
Finally God revealed the meaning, and why I was so shaken and fearful of
someone stealing it.

I carry all that is me in my purse. Identification such as drivers license
and more. He explained I was afraid of my ID would be stolen. No not
in the sense it is done today via identity theft, but the "real me." I was
afraid of losing who I am.

I don't suppose anyone has an explanation ?

Exactly ~ Makes sense, never saw it that way. Letting go and letting God ~
Gosh this has been years of dreaming same dream, oh, just different locations.
Haven't had that one for quite sometime. Maybe it has been resolved with age ?
I am a complex person. Even my cardiologist tells me I am a complex patient.
They just can't figure me out ~ LOL ~
Thank you for this explanation, never saw it quite like that. I just knew God
was like saying....I was afraid of losing my identity. Well, world here I am and
if anyone doesn't know I am an open book by now, well, let's just say I am exposed.
Seriously, I love the Lord and have been blessed. Lived my life ~ Not sure how
much more time He is going to give me, but let's pray I have learned to "let go,
and let God."

I had same dream for many years of a house, it was a mansion, but needed work it had pillars winding stairs, marble floors. wanted to live there but the enemy was in a room upstairs, had this dream over many years, Well after I started seeking the Lord wholeheartedly , really repented, baptised with the Holy Spirit, had same dream, went the the house,
went upstairs , a window was broken in the room where the enemy was, and he was gone.
I then realised the house was me , the Lord could not live there, till i repented and followed him

I have been having dreams for a while, they come randomly because 99% of the time I don't dream... But when I do dream I always get in a fight with someone or something for no reason at all... I act all tough and macho and, approach the thing I am about to beat up on with as much gusto as I can muster... Then I go to throw my first punch and I feel beyond weak... The harder I try to weaker I am until I am so weak it seems as if my punch is healing the other....

2 days ago I had a dream that I did not realize was connected until now, but I was standing in a line and there were multitudes of people getting picked on by 2 big muscular men, everyone coward in front of these men and took their abuse. Then out of no where, I said to myself this is enough and I walked up to the first one and said something along the lines of "I am going to try to beat you up, I know I am going to loose but you are a jerk". So his friend came up to him and turned a few nobs and made his muscles even bigger... And I stood my ground, the second it was about to go down, a even bigger guy, so much bigger than the two jerks combined walked up and basically gestured that he would fight for me... Then I woke up....

I know it is telling me, by myself I am nothing, but with God I am strong...

Oh gosh, did you know about the dream I had of my daughter
and I being in a mansion that was run down, and we had just
cleaned the downstairs, and was going to go up stairs to clean?
I remember I looked up to top of steps, hesitant to go because
I knew something was evil up there. I woke up. My daughter
died later in real life.

Before my daughter died, I had a dream of a man coming to my
back door. It was pouring rain down that looked like crystal water.
He was dressed in black overcoat and black brimmed hat. Nice
looking man. He was insistent I let him in out of the rain, I felt
evil. I would not allow him entrance. I could actually feel the evil
if I let him in. It was not long after that dream, my daughter died.

Follow up to this is true life. Okay, so I am at the funeral home
and was there for friends, and her friends. Day of funeral, we go
to Cemetery and her male friend she was staying with said, "I
forgot to sign the register at the funeral home, do you think I could
come to your house and sign it?" I said, sure. My husband later
said absolutely not. So I wrote him and told him he couldn't come.
It was not long after that, it hit me WOW.... HE WORE BLACK
AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND FUNERAL.
Do you see the connection ? The man in the dream wore black overcoat
wanted to come in house. Man in real life, ( who BTW is the one who
allowed her to freeze to death ) is the one who wore black shirt and
slacks. And he was not a person who dressed up by nature. I thank
God my husband had the wisdom to not let this person come into our
home. ~

I believe that when a person falls into a deep sleep, their soul leave the body and goes into a different realm. This realm is a spiritual realm which God is communicating to us through material images and sometimes He speak to us direct (And sometimes the devil sneak in a few words). And I believe that when we have forgotten about the dream is because we are focusing to much on the natural life; like for an instance, there are times when a person is in a conversation with someone and that person mind is wondering off about something while the other person is speaking to them, and they didn't absorbed anything that other person was saying. Some said that we only use our conscious mind but not our subconscious. I believe that is what God is trying to open up to us is our subconsciousness that doesn't be tempted by our physical nature and which it get in the way at times. When Jesus had healed the Blind man; the first thing the man had saw was trees moving around like people, and then He cleared his eyes again, and the Blindman saw people moving around. So I believe that first healing was the healing of the pineal gland (And which it is called the third eye) that help a person to perceive the spiritual nature, and then Jesus had healed the part in the Blind man in order for him to perceive the physical nature.

Job 1 6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?

Genesis 15:12
As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him.

Jeremiah 23:32
Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,” declares the Lord.

Daniel 1:17
To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.

ive enjoyed reading you guys dreams.its a very personal thing to share but you guys seem very loving on this particular thread. For some reason the Lord speaks to me a lot through visions and dreams.ive had so many I find it hard to keep up.They come in a variety of ways and they all are for different purposes.one time I was sitting down and a vision broke right in front of me.i saw Jesus standing on a huge open Bible with a fishing rod in his hand.He would cast out his rod and catch people and sling them onto the Bible with him.As they would land they would be on all fours and they were really shaky. But then they would slowly get up and eventally they would assume a firm stance on the Bible. It was awesome to see.in another vision I saw Jesus in this white room.it was quite small and and Jesus was doing something to the wall. When I looked closer he was focusing on little black spots and cleaning them with with a rag he had in his hand.he was so focused and intense as he did this.In another vision I saw Jesus holding a heart in the shape of the symbol of love.it was red and he was wrapping it over and over again with a red cloth that looked like a super long scarf.

I believe the house represented repentance for me. The word says he lives in us. The eyes also represent the windows to our soul. Either we serve him or mammon.

I used to have the same dream repeapedly about a house, it was beautiful and rich in its structure, yet there was a room hidden away, that kept it from being whole and strong again.
I came to the same understanding, and Jesus healed the deepest places of my heart.

The most unussual dream that has stayed with me since many years ago...
Was when I was about 19 yrs old, still yong yet. :)
I was in a room where the walls were a soft red, yet filled with gentle light, warm and comforting.
All around me were infants, some getting well, some still healing, and some very ill, so thin they were near death, all being brought to me my a loving and gentle man.
I was to nurse, feed all the infants back to health, and as soon as they were strong again, this loving and gentle man would come and take them out to the world again.

I was given an interpitation, but please share what you think it meant. :)
And no, this was not about my own future children. :)

God bless

The warm walls are your heart, the children are those who were outcast and needed love and attention.

I was going through a difficult time in my life. In my dream there was a fire so hot it was like a smelter. What was left was gold. It has helped me endure trials over many years.

We had a fun dream in our life. My husband sometimes dreamed things that actually happened later, and he said that these dreams were different from others. He had one of these dreams when we were spending a summer in Montana out of Dillon where at a deserted town near us a sheriff named Plumber had robbed most of the gold shipments when the people of that town mined gold from a large strike near there. He dreamed he saw Plummer burying gold under a bush on the side of a hill. My children were all teens, and I and the children were off looking for Plummer's Gold. We went to the archives in Helena for information, we found a diary of that time in the old house we were living in, we got a gold detector, we followed old stage coach roads, we went to a lawyer to find out if we could keep the gold if we found it. Our gold detector said we found something once, we dug and dug. It was an old dishpan.
