ya there is this person who is angry with me because he says god isa god of conditional love and i say he is a god of unconditional love. Then i make a playful joke to lighten the mood and he yells at me to use scripture not my opinion. he will be even more angry when he see's what i replied. I told him bluntly i would not use scripture just to correct him and that he uses scripture in the wrong way. Out of pride and the desire to be proven right not love and thus it is all useless. i told him he was acting just like the pharisee's. this is one of the people i mentioned in my latest post in wisdom for everyday living. i tried to stop the fighting but people just love to fight

This post is for what to do when you feel angry- My brothers and sisters, always be willing to listen and slow to speak( this also falls into the catagory of the wise, If someone is trying to teach you something do not interrupt them and listen to what they have to say. When they are finnished decide for yourself wiether to accept their teachings but always decide based on prayer to god. Never decided based on your own feelings or agenda's.)Do not become angery easily, because anger will not help you live the right kind of life god wants james 1;19-20 Even god had rightious anger. But but he never made a decision based on it and neither should we. We also cannot allow anger to last very long for then comes a grudge. The devil will then use that anger to harm you and those around you. Forgiveness is the moset powerful weapon against anger, this isnot an easy task because the anger can be very powerful from those who hurt you so much. We then turn to god and beg him for a supernatural forgivenesss. I would tell an inspiring story of this but the post would be to lone as i am trying to make them shorter

I just had to post this, iwas feeling down in the dumps a few minutes ago and i said to god Lor i know i wasted most of the day today( I said thhis because i slept in very late today and i didn't encourage ppl as much as i think i should have) But tomorrow will be better just wait and see! Then i heard a small voice in my head saying There you go! that's the kind of attitude i love to hear!. So even now i may feel sad and even now i feel apart from god i am not. I will go to bed earleir so i can be awake more tomorrow and i can start a new day fresh. I will try to stay away from those poptarts, they really messed up my diebetees today.

I have some advice for everyone. In my search for wisdom i constantly get blessed by god. He made me stronger and answers many of my prayers. I constantly thank god for allowing me to be his messanger- to encourage and give advice. But i always tell him how i know these helpful words are not my own but from him. I always give him credit. Here is my advice- seek wisdom. Not wisdom from earth's standards but the wisdom only god can give. Proverbs is in my opinion the best place for wisdom and helps with many of life's problems.

That's the 2nd time that verse from James has come up, in only 2 days...hmm, God's trying to tell me something. Thank you for this, you're helping me quite a bit. The idea of the devil using anger to hurt me & those around me--that hit home. I was so angry with my mother over something, and it has hurt me & her (she wasn't able to talk to me on my birthday, because I wouldn't take her calls--it was a petty & selfish thing to do). Then, I was really angry at my pet bunny, because he tore up a part of the carpet (I knew this was going to happen, he loves playing under that table--I've had rabbits before, I know full well how to prevent it). I know that sounds petty, as well--it stems from fear (if I can't repair the carpet, I won't get my deposit back on my apartment; if he swallows some of the carpet, he could get hurt, etc, etc, etc). Anyway, I got furious with him, then immediately begged God to forgive me (the bunny forgave right off the bat--he's a loyal, sweet little companion--maybe I could learn from him). Anyway, thanks, again for this, and God Bless you.

I had the same problem...Here's what a true friend told me: "You have to remember Christians are still human, and still imperfect and can still be prone to our natural personalities, hurts and situations.
Being a Christian doesn't mean we all of a sudden start acting a certain way, but rather it starts us on a journey of growth. And different people are in different places on their journey. Some grow more in one area than another. So don't let people interfere with your walk with God. The relationship you and God share has nothing to do with anyone else. While its true its good to learn and fellowship with others, we can't allow these interactions to dictate to us who God is."

This was after I got verbally "stoned" for my previous divorce--people on here can come across as harsh. I'm not exaggerating when I say this: I was ready to leave this faith, before God even got truly started on me. I pray that you don't allow others to get you down, ever again. What this friend said helped alot, and I pray that it will help you, too. God Bless you.

PS~ NO way!--currently listening to Christian radio, and there's the passage from James in one of the songs!

I just watched a horror movie about a 15 year old who allowed the devil into her body out of anger. Her friends got hurt and her brother died. Her mom was so depressed she wouldn't forgive her. When they left the room of the hospital her mom looked at her with a look saying it's all your fault. It was so sad and to make it worse she begged her mom to forgive her over and over but she wouldn't say a word and the daughter was so sad and alone. her mom attempted to kill her that night but she couldn't get herself to do it, she at the last minute didn't do it and out of guilt stabbed herself to kill her self. her mom lived and in the end the daughter told the devil to go away forever and stabbed herself, he left either because he thought she was dead or he acheived what he wanted. but she lived and just her mom and her survived. I know it is just a movie but i am so sad, to see someone who want's the love of her mother but cannot get it to be so sad and alone it was to much for me. it's just to sad i wish i never watched it if someone attemps suicide but fails do they go to hell when they die? if they were good people but because of how harsh life can be they do it, they don't really go to hell do they?

hey peoples here is somethings i think can help i will try not to make it longLOL- So once again i mention wisdom I know i know i'm obsessed but i want to explain how to get it. I will start by sayin the wise in heart Please the father, but a foolish and lying son brings disgrace and shame to the mother. i will say this the wise in heart- doesn't that make you think of a wise old man? why is it that old man is wise? from age and experiance. haven't you ever heard of aged liquior? sry i should say alchohol because idk how to spell that word. But the point is aged wine or whatever is treasured because it has been aged and therefor is much more tasty. This is the same about wisdom but not just wisdom everything! the things we pray for that have yet to be answered will firstly be much better than we could have hoped for if we wait for it. also there is another reason god loves to make us wait. it's about discipline, he may see the waiting game to teach us something like say patience or to learn how to love or how to read his word with joy there are millions of leassons he could be using the waiting game for. perhaps he wants to see how much you want it? how far will you go for it? where will you look to for it? the same about money, do you have a pretty dress you really want? a new car you have been saving for? what do you want to buy? try this keep saving and wait to buy it for two or three weeks. why do this you ask? why in the world would i wait to buy it and save more? what are you driving at? well i am not going to tell you it's a surprise;D god will show you trust me, but that is of course only if you have the guts to take my challenge,

I have been gone a while and i am just really glad to be back.I don't know if anyone has been going through a rough time or a good time but this is the place to talk about it. there is no judging here so it is a safe place and hopefully a place that truly changes lives. This is why i made this thread, Because i love to help people and if i were to save even one person's life because of this thread I would praise god and tell him what a blessing it is to have such a thread.

i need encoragement today feeling down today someone who said they were my friend took me off thier friends list ; it must have been a joke im very sad ;please keep me in prayer
SHIRLEY, THAT IS NOT LOVING AT ALL. SOMEONE TOLD ME ONCE WELL THEY DIDN'T THINK I TALKED WITH THEM ENOUGH. THIS IS IMMATURE. IF SOMEONE HAS 399 FRIENDS, JUST DUMP THEM. THIS IS WRONGE , WE ARE CONNECTED SPIRITUALLY, IT DOSN'T MATTER IF WE EVER TALK , THEY ARE THERE IN OUR PRAYERS, AND EVEN IF THEY HAVE GONE. THIS IS IMMATURE. THE ENEMEY EMPLOYES PEOPLE JUST TO HURT OTHERS AND THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW THEY ARE WORKING AGAINST THEIR OWN BROTHERS AND SISTERS FOR THE SPIRIT OF DARKNESS HAS BLINDED THEM. I KNOW YOU ARE VERY DEEPLY DEEPLY HURT AND REJECTED. JUST KNOW THIS, THAT YOU WILL BECOME STRONGER FROM IT, AND JESUS YOUR LOVING FRIEND KNOWS ABOUT YOUR HURT. LET IT GO AND FORGIVE. THIS IS SPIRITUAL MATURITY. GOD IS WITH YOU SHIRLEY ALWAYS.
