Well, you dig them out with a shovel and pick them up with gloves and throw them in the trash. If you want to come to our church Monday morning at 7:30, we can see if any more have sprung up.
I have plans for Monday morning at 7:30. I plan to still be asleep. lol

I'm an expert in collective animal nouns, as in "a cornucopia of slugs".

Seymour
Clowder of cats
Murder of crows.

(The stuff I learn to write a short story. lol)

The last time I had an intelligence test (which I don't believe is valid because of the inherent difficulties in quantifying intelligence), I scored FAR above the genius threshold. However, in matters of "common sense", social norms, and many basic fundamentals - I am either completely ignorant or I am truly "dumb" about them.

My ability in scholastics is meaningless to most people, myself included, when I lack the ability to act like a decent human being in social settings or lack the knowledge of how to do certain actions that many people take for granted as simple.
If you lived in Virginia, liked volleyball and reptiles, I'd introduce you to my brother. He's the quiet one in a room full of people.
He so rarely knows what to say that when he talks, people literally come into the room to listen to him. (Which makes him grin and look around, because he doesn't get why anyone would listen to him.) And for all the effort we put into listening to him, at most, he might say a whole sentence.

Despite being that awkward around people, he still has quite a few friends. He does that by offering to help, (always related to doing something, because he can't help if he has to say something), and keeping his promises. I have to be careful what I say around him though. He lives five hours away from me, and if I make the mistake of saying, "Sure come on up and help us move," he'd be here that morning, without realizing I was kidding.

Sound like the type of guy you could get along with easily? His biggest down side is love him, love his snake and caiman too. If you visit him, never think he'd keep his pets in cages, and yet always assume they do bite! (He swears, "only once," but I'm working toward avoiding even the once. lol)

I have no expertise in any one particular subject. I know just enough to BS my way through conversations about many topics, and I know enough to be a danger to myself about many others. Truth be told, I'm rather ignorant, untalented, and pretty dumb.

these (3) sentences are worrisome, but then again, you do have a pretty good
defensive side...:)

Everyone has it. Honest. Everyone!

So what is your expertise?

And how did you become an expert at it?
None i could think of... Actually if i think of the years ive been cooking or trying to for my family, i should be an expert now... but i am not for some reason. One thing i can do but not that that well is piano. I say this coz my lesson was probably just one or two from my older sibs' terror teacher, they said. After that i stopped and cant tell for what reason, maybe we didnt have enof to pay the teacher for all, or i may have been traumatized (but have no such remembrance so maybe its not that). I did teach myself from the available books and played/practiced thru grade school, high school, some of college. So i can teach beginners. but i had this fear that pros would see my mistakes in teaching young ppl who could learn better from them so i didnt pursue the hobby, until recently when someone asked to have an older child taught. So i am back doing a little of that. I thought to share this to encourage some who have started to do or work on some interest or hobby and put it aside thinking they cannot do it, and hoping the Lord will let you do it, for Him.

I was pretty good at procrastinating too, but that is not pleasing to the Lord and have so strived to get that out of the way.
