I guess it's pretty much the same as stating that a thread should be closed and then continuing to post.

Perhaps Sirk has shed some light on why we do it.

...and, by the way, I never said anything about fake-anything the first time I left. I've just never corrected you, because it didn't seem important. But, since you keep repeating it--I'd like to clarify now.
When you left here as PW, you DID talk about this forum being fake. Go back to post 1 and read your own words. :/ And when you left as WW, you said you were tired of all the fights and arguments here..
Yup, that's right.

Is there a point to all this, Blue?

I'm thought the culmination was in the past, and that we had stepped off this rollercoaster, but it seems we're climbing back to the top of another hill.

Then jump off the coaster. :/

Justin can correct me but I think he feels misunderstood and being misunderstood is painful. When we experience pain we often become angry and instead of addressing the pain we feel we act out of anger. The path to peace is processing the pain. Being open and vulnerable and honest about the underlying pain we feel from disconnection. Anger begets more pain and unprocessed pain begets more anger.

uh huh

and half the time, when you do actually open up, you get hit broadside with a big salami LOL!

why should someone have to explain every thought in their head because someone else nags on them because they have nothing else to do?

everybody wants to be heard and understood and most of all, we want to be loved for ourself...not someone elses' ideal

that's the twit poster I speak of

I saw it...I'm no prude and as a Fine Arts Major, I certainly saw enough in life drawing classes

like anything else, a time and a place and the BDF ain't the place to discuss the op's fascination with seeing who he can entertain and who will entertain him back

just my 2.5 farthings

I probably do owe someone an apology and if any site admins ask for an apology, I will apologize to them.

TRUTH:

You're 65 years old and slow with use of internet forums, so you [likely] did not see that this was already resolved prior to your posting this.

You did not assist in reconciling Tintin and myself--you only added to the problem.

....

...see how sticking your nose where it doesn't belong can add to a problem rather than add to a solution?
Sounds like you're just here to pick fights

communication for some people is just an obstacle to get out of the way so they can post their opinion and other nonsense

back to real life

enjoy and don't forget to let me have it somewhere from someone

I finished reading the thread. But the thought is the same.

The ignore button has 2 functions:

1. The most common use is so that you won't have to hear from people who aggravate you.

2. The lesser use is to keep you from being tempted to respond negatively to people who aggravate you.

And you my friend are obviously aggravated at many here.

I'm sorry, and I mean this in a loving brotherly way, but it sounds to me like you are the instigator here.

That's what rollercoasters do. They're nothing but merry-go-rounds that do a little more than round and round. BUT, ultimately, they do keep going round and round. Have you ever noticed? Rollercoasters never change -- just the riders.

I know people who complain and complain about rollercoasters, but they go buy the ticket for another ride. Want to know what I do? Laugh at them.

Challenging someone who said I often promote false teachings is instigating a fight?

If this is not how you see it--then how do you see it?

I just can't figure out if certain threads are 'rollercoasters' or if the entire website is a rollercoaster.

Assuming is bad. Asking for clarification is better. I think I need to teach a communication class. No one would come tho. lol
Would you want me to? I have degree. I can't think of anything better to do in another class than query on how you believe such-and-such when this esteemed media expert said this-and-that instead.

I think if we don't know how to love and care for and nurture our own heart we won't be very good at receiving love or giving it. And on top of it, the slightest criticism is multiplied and hurts even more. We have to learn to care for ourselves and then it becomes easier to brush off a critical spirit in someone else.

I wonder if P lost his teeth and is looking for them somewhere. Maybe he dropped them in the lake. Lol
