the Dixie Chicks were a great band.... til Natalie decided to be political instead of just singing.... that sort of put their career on the skids for a while...

I love their songs, though. They were fresh, inventive, witty.... just a LOT of talent there.
I've "boot-scooted" a lot of miles to her dad and uncle's band, the Maines Brothers....

cam.png One of the better voices out there, very new, with not many songs out yet, is the band/girl called Cam....

Great voice.... the two guys that sing with her do great harmonies....

If she just wasn't so ugly.....

True. Her comment did put their career on the skids for a while unlike Hank Williams, Jr. But they bounced back like True Champions and their subsequent album sold in the millions. The Chicks remain very popular and for good reason. :)
