I understand brother Andy what you are saying. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom and His peace and presence is there as He is pleased...... Pray Pray Pray for God to be glorified in this place, and Gods Holy Spirit will be our guide.....Love in Christ Sherril.....

I'm fedup of all the accusing on here were suppose to love our brothers and sisters not accuse, but all I hear is accusation. And if you try and give some idea and incite then they think your trying to be a profit or holier than though attitude.
Nobody listens & think they know it all.
Let me say I don't and never will know it all, at least people should listen to one another without blame, accusations and attacking another because they dont understand the Spirit of the Father, instead there constantly looking at the word thinking that that will lead them to Christ. How can they them selves turn round and try leading another to Christ when they themselves are blind?

You said something very interesting here, which reminds me of this:

[39] You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me;

People seem to think the Bible is an end in itself, rather than realizing the Bible is meant to point us towards Jesus.

I agree that people need to be more respectful.

The BDF has been like that since I joined, in 2011. Don't count on it changing anytime soon.

Everyone needs accountability partners on each end of a debate. With enough love tell their side when someone gets alittle out of line.

It all starts with you the individual to do right. Set the example and others will follow.

In remembrance that people are still human and even the nicest person can lose their cool every now and then. We are creations with emotions and many times emotions speak through words. This is why if you listen so carefully, you can pick up on how the individual is feeling.

Some feel inadequate, threatened, fear of being wrong, or just love the drama.

Its even harder to determine how to handle emotions as you cant hear the voice tone or body language.

But one things for sure if you dont never get your feet wet, how will you ever learn to swim?

Meaning you can talk about doing and promoting right all day and nothing will change. But turn those words into action and this is how a ripple affect begins.

Jump into a discussion with lots of hostility and with your main purpose of being there is to promote peace.

Anyone who actually is following Jesus would only want the same and take your words to heart even if they in the wrong.

It all starts with I. Be the example. I personally would love to have my own personal peace reminder lol.

Sadly even people that dont deserve harsh comments get caught up in it because another person said something mean and they take that hurt out on the whole party of the opposition.

I know mailmandan deserves my apologies. I lost my cool with him a few days ago.

But time goes on. We live and learn. And learn to live. Glory be to God.
