MissCris, you asked if my coworker would have done the same as far as returning my money , i have worked with her for around 2 years and she probably would not i'm 99% sure of that, i say that because she and her friend have in the past gone into my lunch and stolen my sodas and i should have reported it but i didn't, it has happened to others

yes MissCris, i know thats what i thought, so if a person will go into your lunch and take without your permission i wouldn't count on them being honest about finding money

One time I found a $20 bill laying in the pew of a church I was visiting. I was the only one in that pew. I didn't really know what to do with it, so I just put it in the offering plate whenever it got passed around. I don't know if that was right or not, but I figured it was better than keeping it.
If I know whose it is or if it's in the vicinity of people, I may ask around. But if it's just laying on the ground and there's no one around, there reallye
y is no way to trace it to who it is unless that person comes back looking for it, in which case is it better to take it or just leave it there?
there where times that i found money in church and on the church grounds and i always put it in the church basket/table but thats always God's money,

Even if I found a million dollars, I'd try to find out who it belonged to and return it. Leastwise, I'd try to return what was left after I pull out of the dealership with my brand spanking new Posche 911. Can I get an Amen!!! :)

Interesting. May I ask why you felt inclined to keep half?
AMEN!

There was a fantastic ture story of a guy who found a bag left unattended. He opened it to find it was full of money. He looked high and low to find out who the bag belonged to. In the end, he went to the local police station and handed in the bag with $100,000 in it. When asked why he was handing the bag in he said "I am a Christian, am homless, but Jesus has always looked after me" - AMEN and praised be to Jesus Christ the high priest as Jesus shone through this man with pure grace, humility, and truth.

When the locals heard of what this Christian man did, the Lord blessed him by the opening of the hearts of other Christians and donations to this man came flooding in - Well beyond $100,000. Why? Because he had not STOLEN what did not belong to him, regardless of whether he could find the owner or not. Neither did he offer it to the Lord, as why would anyone with a true Christian heart, offer The Lord Jesus Christ stolen money? Who knows what deeds were done for the now found money to be obtained? And does any true Christian really want to be potentially dancing with the devil?

Matthew 7:

[SUP]13 [/SUP]Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

[SUP]14 [/SUP]Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Now this post isn't meant to be judgemental of anyone, but it sure opens up a potantially wonderful loving debate of finding the way, the truth, and the life XXXX
God Bless you all

so you are saying I stole it??? how?? if I did not find who it belonged to after asking around. this was at a gas station, where 100's of people come every day. I am pretty sure that the person would not have went to the police for 10 dollars. and yes when you say I gave Jesus stolen money you are being very judgemental.
