your 'WORD' is your 'mantle', when you say that you will be 'there',
then, 'wear your mantle', thus you won't ever willingly' 'break your Word'...

for those of you who want me to explain, 'willingly', well, we've gone through this
worldly test of Truth: please, ask others who are 'right behind us, where we so
well remember being! 'GRATEFUL' could never cover all of this'...:):)

not limiting this piece to 'age or experience', but allow us to be real, our 'peers'
do have a leg-up', in understanding where we are coming from...
TYJ...

How about the next time someone tells you to have a nice day, stare at them and say, "Don't tell me what to do!"

Growing up as kids, we would make random phone calls and ask the person who answered the random call if their refrigerator was working. They always said yes. So my sister, brother or I would say, "You better go catch it." I was just wondering if kids still do that today. :)

Another one was we ask if their nose was running and the answer was the same. Just silly kids playing around. :)

Even funnier because it's "True" my uncle recently did this, after my aunt told him she was going to the store to get food,as if he had never eaten before,he eats nearly constantly sandwich after sandwich all day,and is always in a hurry to fix something for himself to eat right before dinner as if he doesn't sit here all day eating tons of food,it's just plain silly.

I was at a BBQ restaurant the other day standing at the counter waiting on my order when a customer (who knew the cashier) walked up and was asked by the cashier how they were doing and the customer replied, "just like you, I am living the dream." The cashier replied back, with eyes bugged out, " I don't know about that!" :D
Well, nightmares are dreams. :-/

Oops, can't edit. :) It should have read, "Is your refrigerator running, you better go and catch it."

heart-breaking that this is to write, but we are led to:

both of our, hub and mine, family members, 'when they choose to speak/communicate with us',
in times of 'their' need, tell us that they 'love us also'...somehow, when we are done nursing them,
healing them back to health, we are 'history'...until the next 'crisis'!...'
some of ya'll know what we're talking here'...

our Father has shown us the Truth in this matter, they 'don't' really LOVE us, because they already
know our needs, and have never 'stepped-up'!!! over ALL of these years...if they truly Loved us,
then their hearts would embrace and honor us as we do them...
and so, this is what we call a 'nullification of a 'true, giving family-heart'...LOVE supports 'friends'...
'writings on the wall',,,
heart-breaking, to say the least...

and NO, this isn't about 'charity', it's about Love, Blood, and Not Land...un-fortunately,
'our' family is all about the 'dirt', instead of about the Blood...

we have, to our despair and heartache, discovered that many people
would rather lie than tell the Truth...
I don't know but I had an acquaintance who didn't feel well and had a perfectly true reason for not going to work make up the most ridiculous lie. "Why don't you tell the truth?"....to which she replied, "It's just easier to lie." badumpump

And then there's the famous, "Do you have Pop in a bottle?" Let him out so he can breathe."

How about the next time someone tells you to have a nice day, stare at them and say, "Don't tell me what to do!"
when i was a girl and our family from Europe visited, they were always a bit perplexed at this American insistence they "have a nice day!" i think the sentiment was more politely expressed across the Pond.

you made me chuckle because "don't tell me what to do!" is a favorite joke between our youngest daughters. if they see an ad that says, buy this item at such and such a store, or eat this food here, etc., it's their go-to. ;)

A friend of mine was pastoring a church and at the end of the service he asked a man to dismiss in prayer....as the church grew quiet he leaned over to pick up a dropped pen and accidently ripped a big toot.....as people in the church began to chuckle under their breath an older man asked his wife why was everyone laughing and she blurted out.....the preacher passed gas.....needless to say....it was the end of the service as all busted out in hysterical laughter.....

oh yes, i remember very well - yes, we all could be stinkers when 'left alone',
but mostly, (back-when),'neighbors' kept an 'eye-out' for everyone
in their territory, (by-gone-days-now)...the stakes $ are a lot higher...
I've seen this as I've looked back and pondered some of my past':
at different times, at different places...
always different stories for different ages...
