Earlier I was speaking about how demons can enter into people who are not Believers and cause them to do bad things and even evil acts. Likewise, that they have the ability to change, to transform themselves into quite appealing human beings. That brought to mind the time I visited beautiful ol' San Antonio, Texas (I fell in love with their 'Riverwalk' incidentally), and of course had to spend some time there. One day I was driving down a highway called Hwy. 90 West and stopped by some interesting places just to visit them out of curiosity. I heard some people talking about an incident that had happened at a club not far from there sometime back. They said people were at that nightclub dancing and having a good time when all of a sudden a man appeared who captivated all of the women who thought he was so good-looking, indeed extraordinarily handsome. The men were of course jealous and ..... well, here's the rest of this bizarre story that I'm sure all of you would like to read. Apparently, even today they are still talking about it! I later read a newspaper giving an account of what had happened and I distinctly remember the title of the story as being "The Night The Devil Danced"

Haunted Places and Ghost Stories in San Antonio Texas: El Camaroncito Urban Legend– now know as El Rancherito
I normally dont feel scared at home even when watching horror movies (which is scarce as I am not a fan of it) but going through the link you provide got me quite scare especially in the part where the lady was dancing with the ghost/demon himself. Eewww!

Yes I know what you mean and I'm sorry it scared you but the only reason it was presented was due to the conversation we are all having on demons and this link was quite apropos'.

Quite obviously the moral to this story is that we never really know who we are dealing with! When things appear to be just "too good" to believe there may well be something hidden in them that we should clearly pray over and watch out for! One thing the link left out that the newspaper article that I read contained is that in the middle of dancing, the devil suddenly got a changed look on his face and started to run towards the men's room. The story said some men followed him by running after him but when they got to the men's room all they saw was a cloud of dark smoke but he was gone! It is said that while the devil can indeed transform himself into human form he can only last that way for a little while and then he must return to his true form as he is one of the damned. Therefore, he obviously realized that he had to exit and ran away as he was being forced to transform into his true hideous self which he did not want others to see after seeing him as being so handsome.

Have a blessed day, Sanglina.

Yes i have but the Holy Spirit Rises up in me and takes over to address the spirit , in this way i do not have to react in fear or the flesh and the situation is peace and rejoicing in Him not me.

Everyone needs to know the authority they have in Christ. Everything is put at His feet: powers, principalities, etc. We just need to learn who we are in Him.

And sometimes we think we are confronted by demons when we aren’t.

I have severe sight loss. I was having hallucinations. The brain works with sight loss much as it does when we lose a limb, it thinks there should be something there, even in the area of sight that is gone.

There is a wonderful book about demon possession by a man who has worked with it called People of the Lie by M Scott Peck.
