Have U Shared Your Faith With Anyone This Week?

Hi, I have been thinking about the parable of the sower and the different types of ground. I thought it might be good to have a thread where people can share about the opportunities they have had to witness to others and share their faith.

The idea being that hopefully it will be an encouragement to us (it can be so hard to step out and share our faith at times for fear of what others might think) and also we can pray for the people concerned that the seed sown will fall on good ground and won't be lost.

So here is mine to start it off. I play the saxophone in the worship team at church we have two services, inbetween them I often to go a nearby take away coffee shop for a drink. I have done this for a while and it has always been the same lady who serves me. I have not really spoken to her much before, but did mention once that I was from the nearby church.

On Sunday she told me she was going on maternity leave so I would not see her for a while. I invited her to the church and to my surprise she asked what time the services were held and what kind of church it was. I don't know if she was just being polite but she seemed interested so I told her about the church and what it belived in, she said she might come.

Hi it did occur to me when posting this, that it can be quite hard to know how to share your faith with another person and hard to know where to start. So maybe people can offer up their thoughts and experience on this also.

Yea when I attend university. I always shared my faith to people that I met, I share with ethusiasm to them, bout what God had done in my life, how God called me back and I repent and I ever build cell group and invite them to meet God together by worship, pray, sharing, encourage. I love those moment, now when I'm move to another phase which is workplace, I just can being role model to my colleague how I live in God and He abide in me, sometimes I share my life with God
