Sees The Father Who Sent Me,

Also He who hears me hears the one who sent me.
And when we see God and hear God, we know we
have eternal life. So once we embrace the Lord in
all His power we will live forever. Scripture also is
clear that the Son can not do anything on His own.
He does only what the Father sent Him to do. And
he who saves his life will lose it and he who loses
his life will save it. At first that sounds contradictory
but on further thought it isn't at all. It tells us that if
we accept Jesus we give up the life we once had
and surrendered our will to Him. If we don't accept
Him, we lose all He has given us and keeps giving
us day by day. Saving our lives means that day by
day we believe Him, we trust Him, we have faith in
Him and most of all we love Him.

If there was no God, there would have been no life.
We owe all we are to our divine Father.

The one who saves his life will lose it, and the one who loses his life for God's sake will save it - is only contradictory if a person tries to meet the goals the world sets. The world says "Me first, take care of my needs, my wants, and if there is anything left I might help somebody else or maybe I'll just hoard it because I never know what I might need in the future." That works if you view life as a game to be won, with success measured in money, but it doesn't work very well because you lose it all when you die anyway.

God's version says life is not so much a game to be won, but a journey to be traveled, and God really has a strong interest in all His people helping each other along the road. In God's way to play life success is measured by how well WE get down the road, not how much I have when I get to the end of it. And it only works if you think other people are as important as yourself.

Could you clarify this statement.

IMO If we don't accept HIM means we never had HIM so then how do you lose something you never had.
