That would make sense, if I didn't remember you were the one who told me how stupid I was for not understanding what you said.

You're not worth the time to prove the claim.

But thank you. Now I can add you to the ignore list, and please feel free to do the same to me.

Because my goals have nothing to do with niceness?

It seems niceness is a way for people to get around interacting or get by without anyone hurting them. Many have been nice to me, and I helped them because of it. But when I needed help, they disappeared. What I needed help with didn't add up to simply being nice.

Also, I was being nice to you and then you told me you weren't going to talk to me anymore, (BTW, isn't this talking to me) because I'm mean.

I simply can't maneuver within the fields of vague niceness. Can't even work when I try. So I go with who I am, and find out enough like me for me.

hub and me, we don't care who likes us or not', we care what Jesus 'likes'
for us to be doing, saying, ministering for Him as the Holy Spirit guides...
this can only come by over-coming the 'old and putting on the new'...
'old bottle - new bottles'...

if you ever 'hear' yourself 'sounding/acting like the 'old', then this is a 'wake-up call',
and should always be 'welcome', recognized as a way that He is continually
healing/refining us for The Kingdom...

Nope. Not gonna do it.

From now on there are only Calvinists and dumb Calvinists who don't know they are Calvinists yet. Try to be nice to the dumb ones...

And there are only Conservatives and dumb Conservatives who don't know they are Conservative yet. Try to be nice to the dumb ones.

Remember, we were once just as dumb as they are... We were blind, but now we see...

i was a dumb Calvinist when i joined in 2012. i was seeing a bunch of things in the Scriptures that had me asking questions at our (Arminian) church. i had those poor men snatching themselves bald. lol

then a bunch of kind Calvinists here (you among them, my friend :)) showed me what i was seeing were the doctrines of grace!

oh, the beauty of sight; the beauty and majesty of our God.

A little practice of Hebrews 12:14 for the OP and the rest of us too, would be in order.

And really, if there is a need, feel free to put me on ignore. Threads designed to vindicate oneself while slamming many indiscriminately who disagree with them is old, callow, unChristian IMHO. It is quite simply sowing discord and is divisive.

because my claim was of truth, can't trump the truth. It is what it is.

Ignore list Why would I do that my door is always open, I'm not into placing people on some kind of ignore list but if you a need to do it so be it. I guess I'm not one of the elect in your eyes?

Its nice to put people on ignore for a little while sometimes.

Especially if you find yourself getting annoyed at all that they post and in turn feel compelled to rebut them.

You can un-ignore them after their time in the penalty box and start fresh. Until the next time the penalty box is required.

well in my view I see it alittle different, that would be equal to not giving the person the other cheek to smack, or a more extreme example as someone driving a cold nail into a person and the afflicted person does not asked God to forgive them for what they do.
