Do you think people in Western Countries that have mainly a white European racial background, are unaware that Jesus in 0AD looked more like the people we call terrorists, than the people we call Jews in modern Palestine?

A lot of Europeans converted to Judaism and lived/mixed in countries of Northern Europe during the diaspora.

A lot of Jews converted to Christianity and Islam in the middle Eastern countries like Palestine where Jesus was born and taught.

The Palestinians, many who are Christian who live in the occupied territories are racially the same people who Jesus was a part of.

I think it's terrible how racism plays a part in the modern understand of what a Christian is, and this idea of a 'Christian nation' in America.

It's out of control, and the Lord is watching. Watching it all.

Jesus was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the ethnicity and genetics of the people around him would have 0 effect on what Jesus looked like. I don't think we can or should be drawing conclusions as to what Jesus looked like when he walked the earth. Besides, it's really not important anyways. What's important is who He was, not what He looked like for the 33 years He walked the earth.

My wife used to complain about this a lot. The first proof she used to Catholics who had "seen the virgin Mary" was the ethnicity argument. Jesus had David's DNA, and they make a big deal out if His Jewish ancestry in Matthew and Luke with the genealogical tables.

Does anyone think the shroud picture is really Him?

It matters not, what his shell was like. People focus to much on the outside and race, either way he was Jesus, who cares what he looked like, he belonged to us all.

I don't care what Jesus looked liked, if he was black, white, Indian, or Chinese it matters not. The shroud, while probably fake is pretty cool.

I wouldn't care what Jesus looked like. I guess it makes sense he might look like that, since he was born near that region.

I don't see it as a racist thing to question what Jesus looks like, cause really there's no sure way of knowing...(unless he appears to you in a dream or near death experience). It's not like people had photography back in bible days.

Actually theres a study on this that 95 percent or so of modern jews are descended from Khazar Jews which were like nomadic slavic/asiatic jews. Apparently only 5 percent or so of jews have actual hebrew ancestry.
