I rarely use my cellphone. I only use it when I need to call or text someone. My friends would get mad at me for not texting or calling them back. LOL! And sometimes I dont charge my phone for days.

Considering that even if I didn't have a social life I still use it for my job, I'd say it's quite important. I work at a pizza place and occasionally we get orders from the deaf students at the nearby college and we have to text them to let them know we've arrived and to meet us outside. Then of course we get the customers who plain don't hear us pounding on the door so we have to call them lol. Most of us would be pretty useless without our phones.

I don't actually use it that much, but I'm completely lost when I'm without it.

I use mine for texting, the web when I'm not on my computer. It goes everywhere with me but when I'm in church it's either turned off or silenced, for the longest time I didn't have a cell phone. I got one in 2008 but I couldn't really do anything but call people on it so I got a new one then that one didn't work right so now I have a Samsung Illusion Android phone, it has it's issues but I love it none the less.

To me, it's important because my husband and I live 1,500 miles from our family due to the Army and it's the only means of communication with some of our family. Other than that, I could live without my phone if I had to - Seeing as how I only use it for the internet when I'm not talking to family and am away from my computer.

Well, mine is essential to me - not because I am addicted, but I work with cell towers and am on call all the time. So it goes with me everywhere but the hot tub & shower :)
