Given the extremely close outcome of this coming election and the controversies in many states, I am wondering IF we will have a final result by Wednesday or will we see lawsuits accusations of fraud or just plain delays due to hurricane Sandy.

Ricky, I must kindly ask you to get out of my head! ;)

Yep--already been decided. As to when we will know what God has done, I think it will be rather sooner than later.
But I was wrong one time, so I realize it might happen again....lol

If YOU really think that it was truly decided at the beginning of the world, did you complain about it while Obama was president? You both must be hard shell Calvinists. Meaning that even God could not change it even if He wanted.

Calvin was full of contradictions.

I didn't vote this year for either party... I'm disgusted with the put downs and I'm better than you.. We are looking at two parties devouring themselves .. they are like vipers in a pit... biting each other , disregarding Gods ideas and Gods plan .. going after their own agendas and own ideas instead..trying to kill off the other party. I may get down right bashed for saying this and that's fine .... ive heard very little discussion about Gods ideas and gods plans under his grace and mercy of a united states he brought together ... revelations is playing itself out... The lion and the lambs doors have been opened.... it is written " they will learn to coexist together" the lion will no longer slaughter the lamb but work, rest, eat, and play together... not there yet .. but heading that way.... the intermingling has already begun :) there will be "rumors" of war... of course there will... The lion posturing to the lamb that he is in control, when in fact the lamb is the very thing the lion needs to remain alive.... if he kills off the lambs , he himself will start to eat and devour himself because himself is all that will be left. Same with the political parties...all they're doing is trying to kill the others ideas.. ... lots of posturing going on in the world today .. And yes there will even be a time lives are lost... but if the world starts killing off its so called enemies .... Who is left to eat , but themselves

Its just like watching crabs in a barrel, the opening is at the top, but each crab is so busy pulling each other down to get there ... They all end up exhausted from their own efforts own ideas tjat none of tjem make it out... You even start watching them eat eachother to survive..consuming themselves to the point of death at tue bottom of the barrel . Political parties will to come to an end of themselves .... and allow God to work ...

We do this individually, political parties are just an extension of That on a much grander scale ...a giant of" self.".. brought together... but not a bigger giant than God

Powemm you need to read about Oliver Cromwell in the 17th century England. A Puritan who took charge in England, just read what happened when he was in charge. I wont spoil it for you but you really need to examine his motives and the end results. His intentions were the highest Christian values only had God's will in mind for the people of England, wanted to turn his country into a Christian paradise. Given the high technology available today one with the same intentions could run circles around what Cromwell did.

It could be a long time before all the absentee, and such, ballets are counted.

Oh, you underestimate me--I can always complain! lol

But in seriousness...do you not believe God is sovereign over the affairs of man?
That He places in power whom He will?
I believe scripture teaches this.
I also believe both parties to be almost completely corrupt.
But that the Lord uses them as He wishes.

I am also truly sorry if that offends you. Honestly.

God change? isn't He the same now and forever? And I''m not implying that God picks our leaders, just that He knew from the beginning who we would pick.

If God knew, then we didn't choose freely, in fact the whole republican primary process didn't matter at all because God already chose so why vote at all in them? In fact why have elections at all since we could just ask God and move that person into the white house. Of course we would have to be absolutely certain of who God wanted. Then our elections would be more like Iran's election with the ruling Priest tell us who it should be.

You're standing on a mountain overlooking a valley with a railroad track running thru it and you see two trains enter the valley heading towards each other. You say 'if those trains don't stop, in 15 minutes they're going to collide right about there". The 15 minutes passes, the trains don't stop, and they collide right about where you said they would.

The fact that you saw it was going to happen and said it was gonig to happen before it actually happened, does that really mean that you caused it to happen?

you misunderstand how reality works...God plans and purposes everything to happen that will happen and then these events happen...does not mean that our plans, purposes and actions are not a part of that process of what will happen..God put everything in place and set everything in motion and we are part of that motion..it would be in defiance and rebellion to God to stay motionless just because He is in charge of everything

You misunderstand how reality works. God gave His authority to us; His deal with Adam was I'll walk with you, talk with you, lend you an ear and give you advice, but whatever happens with creation is YOUR call, your authority. That we handed that authority off to Satan does not put God back in charge. On the contrary. That's what Jesus was all about, restoring authority over creation back into MAN's hand, not God's. Because God's intents never were to be the authority of the here and now.

Again think hub and rim. God's position in the heavenlies lets Him see all of time, all of the time. Just because He sees something happening and tells us hey if you do this, that's what you're going to deal with later doesn't mean He caused it to happen. He's telling us what we're going to cause to happen.

And yes that fits within God's plan because God's plan all along is for US to be in charge.

JESUS says "All authority has been handed over to ME" so you are wrong, wrong, wrong and blasphemous to say otherwise

The authority belongs to Him. The use of it belongs to us.
