How would you react if someone proposed to you the day you met them? This sorta happened today (through CC) and I was shocked. I respectfully denied. I'm curious.. how would you react?

I'd ask ugly how that ignore button thing works... Lol jk
if it was in fun I'd laugh, if he was serious I might be pretty freaked out but I'm also barely almost 16
I don't really ever have guys interested in that kinda thing with me though

I would say, "My name isn't Dharma and I don't exist in a sitcom."

I would say, though, be very careful about what you give away on here. I was involved in some PMs about my faith. I kept telling the person writing me that I wasn't a student of a seminary and so if they wanted deep seminary type 'proofs' regarding the Bible, I wasn't the person. They kept writing and finally they asked what I did for a living. I gave a very aloof answer. They asked for more information and details. I then replied, "I'm sorry. I don't give that information out online."

Their response was, "Ok. Sorry."

I didn't hear any more from them. Don't give personal info online, especially here. You feel safe because this is a Christian site, but many will tell you not all here are who they portray themselves to be.

Thank you for the responses everyone. And yes, I am fully aware that I should reserve my personal info. Thank you for the reminder :)

:) It is surprising how many teens and adults don't restrain from sharing things online with complete strangers. It is quite shocking, in fact. :) I'm glad you are cyber-safe and aware. God bless.

count yourself lucky, I hear lot of guys are........ wonko
This is true plus sometimes we can kinda steer the conversation. I'm upfront about that I have no plans to even date for four or five years... Most guys don't wanna wait around that long lol

Yeah I am also surprised by how open people are to giving away their information. It is a huge generalization that we shouldn't give it away, yet people do anyway like it's no big deal. I have had that mindset before, and from experience, I know that nobody gets out indifferent.

I'd be like, what?! Crazy, you can like someone from one day but don't propose, need to get to know them properly and even then don't say it early
