I'm often impressed whenever I'm reading non native English speakers' texts. Like you I'm bilingual and I know what kind of challenges we are facing on a daily basis.

Not only regarding our second language, but also is our mothers tongue influenced by the other language. Both vocabulary and grammar can sometimes come out in a messed up way and the person we are communicating with will really start wondering what language is this thick accent person's native language:p.

You're right, the hardest challenge is to stop thinking in your native language.
