As we all know there are all kinds of things going on in this country and all around the world as of late. I try not to fear it because I know God will never leave me but I do stay aware of it. Lately I've been trying to find my own way not just in the world but throughout my own life. I'm sure like most of you, I've more than once found myself praying for not just answers but for guidance.

When I was with my family on July the 4th (also celebrating my father's 68th b-day, thx for prayers) there is a small country church alongside the road on the way to my Dad's house. Like most churches this one too has a sign that little sayings can be put on and on this day as I read this one I just felt like it had been put there for me. It simply said,
P.U.S.H.
(Pray until something happens!)
I'm sure I've seen this sign before but until that moment, I had never really SEEN that sign. I felt as though God himself were telling me that I need to pray more myself and tell others to do the same. Though now I know I have been changed forever because I have begun my journey to locating and udnerstanding my spritual gifts, things I didn't even know I had until I saw that sign. It truly is amazing how God can just reach out and talk to people.

Until recently, my life had consisted of a lot of messed up chaos, and I had no idea how to fix it even though I read my bible daily I felt like the answers I needed I just wasn't finding. I have the utmost confidence now that things will get better in ways that I could have never imagined. However, I have also begun to pray ever harder for our contry and it's leaders as right now America is in the biggest mess it has ever been in...as christians we are called to stand together and pray.

I know my family thinks I lost my mind on the 4th but the truth is my eyes to God were opened the rest of the way. Prayer changes things...of this every christian knows. Hopefully if we will pray together we can make America more what the "founding fathers" meant it to be, for the children of tomorrow. IT is never too late to PRAY~ I know my life is already changing.

God bless us all.

I like that. Our church has a sign out front as well, usually it's something clever like "Can we talk? signed, God" or "Our Sundays are better than Baskin-Robins" (Ice cream company, for those who may not know). I like the P U S H idea.
