VCO brought up some good points. Pray about them. You just might find yourself in arguments that go nowhere. But on the other hand, if you would spend as much time praying for those people as you do trying to make inroads to their understanding, you might be going exactly where God wants you. I can see a need for more intercessors than preachers on such a site as this.

Those kinds sites and the non-believers that go there FEED ON VICIOUS NAME CALLING ARGUMENTS. Most of them have already hardened their hearts, and only go their try to make Christians look ridiculous, just to feed their own sick egos. I used to be a Volunteer Chaplain in California's largest Prison "HOLE" {Security Housing Unit}. So I have been called every name in the book, but was able to ignore them, because I prayed to be FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT every time before I walked through that front door. I learned to rejoice for the few who wanted to hear the TRUTH, and I mean the VERY FEW. Now if you are the type that cannot stand to be called Names, it is definitely is not a ministry for you. Because if you loose your temper one time, you will have fourteen of them laughing at you and calling you hypocrite, among some filthy names that I will not mention here. AND once that happens, your credibility as a Witness for Jesus Christ is totally blown. It was my experience that they really do attack like vicious wolves, when they sense a lamb is wounded. AND ALL THE TIME, you have to TUNE OUT the lies and tricks they use to get you to DOUBT your Beliefs. Jude warned us that when we went into get someone out of a cult, to snatch them as if out of the fire. Why do it that quickly, because I believe it implies that in lingering long, we are in danger of our own garment could becoming spotted. That means some of their bad habits and false teachings might rub off on us.

I have seen it happen to my son-in-law. He used to Read WATCH TOWER Magazines, telling me he could glean the good info in there and ignore the bad. Then one day when we were in a personal bible debate, he quoted a Watch Tower teaching to me, thinking it came from his own Church. That is how dangerous it really is. It is not a ministry for a lamb, and even a mature Ram is in danger. You have to stay Prayed Up, Totally KEEP THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD ON, A BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT at all times, and absolutely BE UNSHAKABLY GROUNDED IN THE WORD before becoming involved in a ministry involving the Cults. I would reread Dr. Walter Martin's book, Kingdom of the Cults first, and Dave Hunt's book the Seduction of Christianity second, and even Beyond the Seduction by Dave Hunt third; if you still feel called to that Ministry.

I was in deep prayer for the forum last night when I went to bed. VCO I understand where you are coming from but I feel this is the right thing to do. cc is my home without a doubt and I love it here and all my family here with it, this forum I went to needs God's help. Some of you have told me that you believe I have a ministry, well if my ministry is not to go out and share God's love and shine his heart I don't know what is. Jesus himself went out into the world to share the gospel, he went before ppl and towns who had hard hearts he received attacks from ppl but he knew that his ministry was to share the gospel of salvation where ever that may be.

I can understand Blain wanting to go. Shouldn't every professing Christian want to go and share God's message to the lost?

I think after a couple of attempts some people just don't want to be saved. We shouldn't cast our pearls upon swine. However, the message of Christ has to get out someway!

Like it was said by kmdavis the message of Christ has to get out somehow. I dont ask to have changed the forum on a massive scale although If God were to do that I couldn't even begin to praise him enough. What I want to see is ppl seeing something different, noticing the love and becoming curious. The forum itself is lacking love and the true heart of God so much that true love would be noticed very easily. The place is like a dry desert so if water( the love of God) were to exist even a little there ppl who are thirsty would go to it. Last night I was saddened for the ppl there. In my prayer I asked God to forgive them for all they have said and for what they will say. I said to him to forgive them also for what they said to me( as I have already been attacked) and to forgive them also for what they will say to me because they surely know not what they do.

I have been there, and I hear you. Study appropriately, pray to be filled with the spirit every time you prepare a post, never answer a post in the heat of anger, KNOW most of them are just trying to push your buttons to get a non-Christian reaction out of you. Most important of all, listen to the Holy Spirit's leading in your heart; and KNOW when it is time to just kick the dust from your feet and Walk Away to someone else's thread. Most you will only make accountable for the truth, but a few may listen to some of what you say. I will be praying for you. One other tip, take regular sabbaticals and come back here to refreshen your spirit and soul. DO READ the books I suggested, they will be very helpful.

I have to admit it is difficult, there is a ton of racism in there and lots of hate. Jesuslives knows how bad it is, she joined to help me. I tell you I got called some bad things. One of them and I had to laugh at this one- a low IQ religious retard. I just couldn't help but laugh because I do have a low Iq but I am not religious and I am pretty sure I am not a retard so they got part of it right.

Oh Blain today I feel as though I have been in the pits of hell it made CC look and feel like heaven. We may have our disagreements in the Bible Discussion forum and I have been told I am going to hell there several times and even called a demon once... But the nasty cursing and I mean the really bad words and the filthy pictures that were posted toward me....ugh......lets just say you are right this site is not the place for the faint of heart. I will not step toe in there on the Sabbath at all as I do want my mind to be on much holier things, but with God's help I will go back and do battle with you again as they certainly do need a better influence than is there.

I will just say it is good to be home at CC for the next 24 hours and I will love my time here as it is peaceful compared to that place.

I appreciate the concern but I can't back out just because it's hard. That place is in need of God's love and If I don't don't show it who will? It is hard but the mission is more important.
