CelleDe, I rarely find that ; nice that you've talked about Andrew Wommack.
Every year around September he's in Uganda and ends all his journey there at church where I minister.

Truly he's amazingly the way you've described. A grace-bible teacher.
He doesn't only televangelise, but he reaches out as well.

Like that one. :)

So, Andrew is a good one to listen to? I want to make sure. I know he doesn't take offerings to pay for a trip. But what's another thing I should know?

He is a man of God. Now when I said he doesn't take money to pay for a trip I meant he will go places if they can't afford it. Most the time a church will pay for him to fly over. When my wife and I took our vacation to Colorado we went to his summer family bible conference. Yes the trip cost us money but to worship God and listen to Andrew and all the speakers didn't cost us a dime. The only thing we would have had to pay for is the meal at the end of the week if we wanted to do it.

Here is a link to one of his teachings called Paul's secrets to happiness

The problem is you can't just listen one of them. No one has the whole truth. We all have a piece of the puzzle to share with each other. You listen to many, you listen to a variety, and instead of thinking that one person has all the answers you see what they have to add to the big picture. It's like paint by the numbers. Each color has it's place in the picture but it does not rule the whole canvas.

It's too confusing to listen to many people. I listen to one. I understand they all have their views, but, too many differing views can mess things up.

Well, guys. I'm even done with Andrew Wommack I guess. I can't like anyone. This is why I thought he was a televangelist and I was done. I'm officially done with him, and any others you all mention. So, there's no need to mention a single televangelist. It's gonna get shot down. I'm OFFICIALLY done with televangelists for good. I thought Andrew was good, but, noooooooooooooo!!!!!

His teachings are hard to understand. I like something I can understand. But I'm not following anyone, anymore. I'm not backsliding.
Bible Audio. Just saying, lots of churches have their sermons on Bible audio...and many are webcast if you're more into the visuals.

I recommend Tenth Presbyterian, but understand I'm from Philly and that's my old church, so that is a prejudice recommendation. I still think it's good, so I'm not steering you wrong. I just fear I'm steering you on a ship and your more of a train traveler. lol

Every single believer in Jesus Christ is in possession of the whole truth---the scriptures! It's not a puzzle.

Andrew Wommack is one of the best bible teachers I know besides my own leaders whom God has placed in my life. He is spot on in his understanding and ability to communicate truth.

Stop listening to people, and ask the Lord to guide you to a church of His choosing (not yours) where you can be fed and well established in your faith. You appear to be a bit scattered in your understanding and wanting some guidance. What I am telling you is how to make sure that you get the best in discipling possible. God wants you to be well-rooted, and a good, bible believing, Holy Spirit welcoming church is where you will grow in God.

You're right FancyNancy. I'm going to continue listening to Andrew no matter what people say or do to stop me.

That's true. But as evidenced in the BDF, the interpretation of that truth varies greatly. Thus the puzzle.
