I'm a Donald Trump's cheerleader. This is suppose to be a cheer for the man, so that people will get jingle in their heads and go out and vote for the Donald!

It sounds like you are on the Trump Train all the way. ;)

I know this will get crazy, but I had to ask. Please be as respectful and merciful to others as you can.

If it comes down to Trump or Hillary, I will vote for Hillary. Trump is a terrifying individual and I cannot as a Republican vote for him. If I could vote for an inanimate object rather than those two I would, but I know that will not help.
Both of them are terrifying. Apparently, I don't have to explain why Trump is to you, but Hillary thinks it's no big deal that an ambassador called her office for help, didn't get any, and so was killed along with the soldiers protecting him. Then she said it has something to do with a YouTube video, but that excuse quickly faded and four months later she wanted to know what the big deal was.

I was just not going to vote for President, (still going to vote all the other parts of the ballot), but hubby says there's a third-party conservative candidate who might get his name on the ballot, so maybe him.

Hubby thought I was nuts not to vote for Trump. Today, he says he can't vote for him either. (And Hillary is simply never going to happen for our vote, because it is a big deal to let an ambassador be killed under your watch.)

I plan to do a write-In.I think Trump Is too dangerous and immature to be commander and chief.
Who's your write-in? Sanity can still win this election if enough people can write in the same name. (Not likely, but possible.)

Trump, no way I would support anyone evil like Hillary the criminal.
And it's not criminal to keep suddenly becoming broke right at the moment the divorce is settled, only to suddenly become rich again the next day? Or are you just selective on how criminal someone must be?

You would vote for Trump even If It meant putting someone you love In a dangerous situation?
We're already in a dangerous situation. No matter who wins the next election it gets more dangerous. What's it matter? No choice in choosing someone not ridiculously conniving anymore.

Seems sensible to me. Defaulting to the lesser of the two evils just for the sake of voting is like buying a pair of shoes that are not the right size instead of waiting until there's new stock.
I'd do that, if I could. This is the first time in my life it's not about voting for the lesser of two evils. They're both simply evil!

I think it is gonna be Trump vs Bernie.

i wish :(

i still hope so tho. & it can still happen -- they are not separated by so many votes that the 'superdelegates' couldn't swing the nomination, even if they are right now still supporting Clinton. and he is really the candidate that makes sense if the democrats want to actually win. all Sanders v. Trump polls still show Sanders winning by a really wide margin - by 10.4 points in the RCP average today ((with Clinton only leading Trump by 1.5 pts))

i think a large part of Trump's 'support' is that because so much of the GOP base has been trained to despise Clinton. so they're not voting "for" him as much as they are voting "against" Clinton -- and while we've had a couple decades of not really supporting a republican candidate, but just voting 'against' the other party, this time around i think it's a lot more clear in people's heads that they really don't want this guy, but they see Clinton as so bad that they're willing to accept another evil.

with Sanders there's not a decade of propaganda teaching conservatives to hate him, and he is certainly not representative of 'more of the same' from the DNC, so it's a completely different ballgame.

i would really love to see a ticket with these two 'outsider/anti-establishment' candidates...

'cuz what we have now is "who do you hate more? vote for the other guy" going on, and that's a very sorry state of affairs.

A lot of people and polls say Hillary is going to win, but in all history, there's only been one time that a presidential candidate was able to win a third term for their party. There are several other reasons why she's more of a longshot than people think she is, but I won't get into them here..

Not totally sure if I understand your post but if you check this list you will see there were plenty of times a party had a 3rd and more term consecutively:

Trump. I think our constitution is worth trying to save. There is absolutely no chance of that if the criminal woman with blood on her hands wins.

yes but other than literal propaganda, what makes you think that Clinton is actually out to destroy the constitution?

or that Trump has any more respect for it than she has?

if anything, i think he has less -- the man has had simultaneous lawsuits going arguing the direct opposite on issues about eminent domain and property rights; whichever suited him to come out making more money. it wasn't about "the law" with him - it was about personal gain.
and he's made any number of statements and promises that have absolutely nothing to do with the rule of law or proper jurisdiction or going through the proper channels of our system of government, but the promises of an absolute dictator, as if he will by the word of his mouth cause whatever he feels like happening to happen.

for example: he promises a wall to be built and to make Mexico pay for it ((though NO SINGLE PART of that undertaking is the president's decision or authority to do)) and to stiff China on the national debt ((NOT the president's place to do)) and to nationally require the death penalty for anyone who kills a policeman ((totally usurping the power of the courts, bypassing congress altogether, and let's not forget that man states have laws that forbid the death penalty altogether))

. . on the other hand you have Clinton.. who wants to shred the constitution because . . because why? Benghazi?

give me a break.

if anything, Trump is the one who is likely to be everything you are afraid of. in fact, he's promised to be exactly that person.

i really feel like an awful lot of people have no idea what they are saying. they're just whipped up into a hate-filled fervor and pointed at the nearest GOP checkbox, & told to vote. & that's scary wrong.

sorry.

i'm guessing this is in miscellaneous because the news section often turns into arguments, & i don't want to be the one that turns this into one.

one thing i often think about, and say, is that when believers get to talking about worldly politics, we often stop using the mind of Christ. we are by nature sheep, and we fall prey to the wolves out there feeding on the voting population. we stop thinking as believers, and start thinking like partisans -- and i think it's tragic, because i've never seen talk about politics really edify anyone in Christ; i've rarely seen anyone even mention Jesus when they're talking about politics at all. what we do instead is set up all kinds of divisions and get hostile with others over things that in eternal terms do not matter at all.

i feel very strongly that the republican party in particular targets and takes advantage of Christian naivety, playing us like fools as it were, counting on our vote 'because they are not godless liberals' -- but they are in turn not any less godless then the people on the other side of the aisle. they are not focused on the gospel; they are focused on getting people to vote for them. so i get upset about what i see as my brothers and sisters being taken in by what i see as nothing but propaganda and lies. it's not because i'm a democrat - i'm not. it's because i hate lies, and i love the family of God.

there are people who really have good motives on both sides of the aisle, and people who really try to honor God on both sides too. but the 2-party system we have is a system of division and disunity, and all campaigning is about dividing us against them, and it's not out home; it's not our country; our citizenship is in heaven. don't become enemies with your brothers and sisters over things that that are ultimately nothing but worldly -- a good soldier doesn't get entangled in civilian affairs.

. . i still think Trump is a monster, and Clinton is too, and that honestly Trump is a worse one. i'll never vote for either one.
i'd vote for Sanders, even though some of you think he's a nutcase. i don't think that's true at all; i think you get that idea from misrepresentation in right-wing biased media.
that's who i'll write in. the Jewish ex-carpenter with the 'crazy ideas' about taking care of the poor and getting rid of the influence of money on power.

Did they find all five Republicans living in L.A.?

(I'm a Republican in Philadelphia. Most Philadelphians are sure there are no Republicans in Philadelphia. lol)
